My SO and I had a wonderful dinner experience at this small local joint. Really good food and dessert! At the slow time we were there, the service was amazing and friendly. Their food choices are unique and tropical. Drink selection wasnt huge, but they have what you need. I highly recommend their cheesecake dessert if they have it when you visit. If youre in a rush, you can get in and out pretty quick since it is order-at-the-counter. I had a mango chicken dish that was very unique.

Was my first time there, atmosphere is nice but food is a little overpriced for lunch. I got a burger and it was ok, they over cooked it (I asked for med well) and my salad that came with it had no dressing, nor did the girl ask me what dressing I wanted and I asked for the mayo on the side and I did not get it. Also the greens were kinda slimy in the salad and I did not realize till after I bit into the salad. Counter girl seemed annoyed about working there. I likely wont go back.

Went here for lunch a few days ago and it was just ok. The staff was really friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and laid out nicely. I had steak tacos. The tacos were just ok, the meat had more of a bland roast flavor than what I was expecting for the price. My friend said his house burger was ok but not great. This is one of those many places that your gonna have to try yourself because it was in no way bad it just wasnt what I thought it might be.

We just left this place. We waited 20 minutes just to get menus, and they werent even busy. Then, after waiting 45 minutes for our TO GO food, we had to up and ASK for our food that had been sitting there so long it was cold and my pulled prom was hardening again. My sandwich was in pieces inside the bag and after asking for no cilantro, there was still cilantro on it. Wont be going back for a long time

Descent but lacks professionalism. I had the potato hash, with a ham, bacon , cheese top with a sunny side up egg,fresh delicious,the decor and atmosphere clean and pleasant.Service and professionalism is lacking , i had to ask for coffee and ketchup and had very long waits, and the chefs in the back were yelling to the servers unacceptable.

Blue surf is seriously some of the best food around Wilmington. They locally source any food that they can which is awesome. Everything Ive ever gotten here tastes fresh and freaking delicious. My family and I eat here constantly and they have such a nice staff. Lastly, the prices are not bad at all for some delicious food.

Ive eaten here several times over the last several years. Its a nice place to grab a quick bite if youre in the area. The staff is easygoing, but the food has been inconsistent. They offer lots of healthier options and the beverage choices are out of the ordinary. The outside seating is enjoyable in the spring and fall.

BSC has some of the most tasty food Ive found in Wilmington (and Ive been here since 89). Its always a pleasure to enjoy the amazing, locally sourced, creative food, atmosphere, employees and somehow, the extremely fair, and some might say cheap prices. This was a great stop for breakfast. We were in town for a wedding and had a full day to enjoy before heading to Wrightsville and stopped in here. Super quick and friendly, and the food was amazing. I wouldve liked to try everything on the menu. Any combo of the signature breakfast is a great call.

The coffee was excellent and the food was great. We got the potato hash with Castro and potato hash hippy. Both were very tasty. The atmosphere is very nice. Its beachy, simple, bright, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and nice. Well definitely be back when we visit again.

When the wait staff claimed the Meatloaf Sandwich was one of their best sandwiches, I almost walked out the door. So glad I stayed! Light! DELICATE! Flavorful! (Three words I never thought would describe a meatloaf sandwich) A visitor who now wants to return...

Really enjoyed the staff. I got to go in the morning. The food was the bomb. I ordered the hash with the Hippy and it was ridiculously great. The environment was friendly and the atmosphere was vey eco-friendly/aware. Definitely a must for the whole family

Food was very tasty. Service was nice. But the reason we wanted to go was for this cold watermelon soup we saw on their online menu. Turns out that is an old menu. Disappointed but we still are thete. Pimento cheese, bacon and basil chips were Fantastic!

My fiance and I went here for brunch last weekend. I got the mushroom sandwich, and he got the turkey avocado sandwich. Both of us LOVED our meals, and the service was great! We will definitely mark this place as a "go to" when friends and family visit.

Some of the freshest food Ive had. The pricing is unbelievably low for the super high quality of the food. The brisket is phenomenal and the chimichurri is to die for. The breakfast on Sunday is exceptional, as well. EAT HERE. You wont be disappointed.

Had the Mahi Sandwich - it was good as were the roasted sweet potatoes. I watched other meals coming out and they looked good. The staff were friendly and I got my food quick. I wish their menu was labeled better for the Gluten free options.

Its a wonderful place to have brunch! I ordered the carmelized banana waffles and bacon it was absolutely delicious. Ive also had their different hot chocolates which are yummy. I go to this place at least once a month just for the waffles !

Attempted to dine in with a larger party. Was not allowed to save an indoor table. Would not allow us to order until we had an assigned table. Ended up leaving after not wanting to sit outside in the cold. Crazy! Way to lose business!

The food was amazing, at an amazing value, had the Mojo Pork entree. Their beer menu is a steal also, nothing over $5. The staff was nice and gave good suggestions. I will definitely return when I come back to Wilmington.

AMAZING! This place is a must. Nice Staff, nice atmosphere, reasonable price, and amazing food! The dessert there I almost passed on but I am so glad I didnt. It was one of the best things Ive ever had.
