Tuesday 16 May 2016 at 3:40 PM I took two of my employees to enjoy a late lunch after a physically tiring day, upon arrival there was a family of 4 waiting to be seated after three or four minutes the take out employee yelled out to the family of four "Ill be with you in a minute" to which the family responded "Thank you" shortly thereafter she seated them and went back to the take out area without a word to us. while she was sitting the family of four, one man entered and went to the take out area, she proceeded to process his order after taking his order another woman entered heading to the takeout area, hesitating so as not to skip us, but continued on to be immediately waited on. Meanwhile, there are waiters and waitress milling around without even a "have you been helped"? Therefore, I was forced to loudly and forcefully demand to know if there was open seating or was anyone going to acknowledge our presence! At this, she opened the kitchen door and stated "I need help out here" immediately another waitress appeared, asked us "how many" to which I responded "is the patio open"? She replied "yes", lead us to the door, STOPPED at the door and handed me the menus and said "sit anywhere" and walked away. Needless to say after 15 minutes (I timed it) no one ever came out AT ALL, so we just left. I did not even ask for the manager given how his employees treated us, I felt it better to just spend my money elsewhere, I can only imagine how long the wait would have been for him to wait on us

My sister told us we shouldnt have come to this bdubs because she has never had a good experience at this location. The rest of us love bdubs and decided we should go anyway. Horrible mistake! After almost an hour wait we asked the waitress about the food because it had been awhile since we ordered. Her response to that was "yeah, I know". Her response to the uncooked chicken was " thats gross ". My Mediterranean salad was all sorts of wrong. It had thick strip of red peppers, which are apparently standard according to the manager, and there were seeds from them all over the peppers and in the salad. The bdubs i normally go to cuts up the peppers but maybe thats just a location thing? There was no humus in sight, and the chicken had the wrong sauce on it. The waitress and the manager was not very empathic at all nor did they offer me anything else. Two of us out of the six that came to eat left hungry. Not a happy camper at all!! I would have felt better about it all if I felt the waitress and the manager were even somewhat sincere when they apologize. Saying Im sorry and walking away not offering anything or asking me how they could fix my problem is the reason in writting this review. Its amazing what good customer service can do.

Weve been there recently twice on a weeknight. The first time it was not busy at all but our food took an hour to be served with no explanation or apology from our server. The last time, we asked our server to watch out for us because of our food taking so long the time before and they copped an attitude right off. Our food was, however, served in a timely manner but we never saw our server again until the check was delivered. Since we had not received our celery, we asked the server if our 18 wing order included celery. The server had asked us if we wanted Ranch or Bleu Cheese and we responded with Ranch. We received 2 small cups of Ranch but no celery. Thats what we planned to dip our celery in. Since all other visits had included celery without a side of bad attitude from the server, we were expecting celery and not the argument the server started with me. Even though the dining experience was tainted the server was tipped as if they were an ace. Your server, however, has cost YOUR location the repeat business of several locals who eat out a lot. The girls at Hooters are way nicer!!

Of all the Bdubs in town this one is the most difficult when ordering your food just the way YOU like it. It never fails everytime I come to this location there is a new or different rule for why they wont or cant put your order in as you request it. Its annoying and I usually have to ask for a manager no soon as the waiter or bartender tell me they cant do something. Im a pretty simple person whose always orders her food the EXACT same way (cooked 18 minutes crispy) Other Bdubs know exactly what I want as soon as I sit down and they make no issues to fix it correctly. The only reason I continued to visit this particular location is because its the closest to my home. But quite often I will drive the extra 10 minutes just to go to th3 one downtown or at Virginia Center Commons. On the upside the draft beers are always remarkably cold.

This probably has to be the worst experience Ive ever had at a B Dubs. The server knew nothing such as: menu, prices, if burgers are cooked medium well etc. Appetizer comes out cold and then the food me and my friends ordered happened to be wrong. BBQ chicken sandwich had no bbq, Big Jack Daddy burger had no onion rings, was poorly threw together, and of course cold. Wings were set in the little box with sauce drizzled on top. Waitress had no apolgies for any mistakes, didnt offer for us to speak with a manager. I most defintely would never return. Employees were loud and obnoxious with each other and the atmosphere was generally non caring, and piss poor. If this is how A resteraunt is ran then I feel sorry for other customers. I dont even want to begin to thank how the kitchen looks or how employees prepare food.

Waited for over Ten minutes to be seated we were never acknowledged by any of the wait staff who were standing around not doing a Thing, The place was not busy as only about 6 tables were seated. The manager looked at us standing there and did not acknowledge us. My wife asked a waitress to be seated and she stated "she will be with soon" pointing to a young lady who was trying to manage take out orders. Other than that I have never revived good service at this location and you will wait forever even to get a beer. Wish I could give zero stars for this review. We will never TRY to eat here again, suggest do not waste your time.

Food is great....lets work on some new management because there is no reason why your hostess does not walk down the line leading to the door and ask everyone if they have been helped. That is not his /her fault...that is her supervisors/trainers fault. Im also trying to understand why there are AT LEAST 6 5tops open and Im not being sat. I completely understand there are reservations but what I dont understand is how EVERY OTHER restaurant in Mechanicsville has reservations, just like you guys, but for some reason you guys cannot handle it. Love your food...hate your poor management. Lets fix it please!
