First time here I had their basic hot dogs and fries. My review is probably more like a 3.5 ...but didnt feel good doing a 3 star! As another reviewer said, there is a BIG wall to greet you when you come in. You have to walk to the side/back to be served. A little strange layout. Staff was very nice. No issues with the service - at all. Why 3.5 stars? I think the hot dogs were pretty basic. It really is not a 5 star dog, and for the price, I didnt expect it. I have had better hot dogs at this place: Haute Dog and Fries (big difference with meat and fries). I would say the dogs at Windy City tasted just fine. Ill be back when I want a cheap hot dog. It took about 1-2 mins to get my hot dog. That means my meat was not "cook to order" like Haute Dog and Fries. The fries though were terrible. There was zero flavor in them. Most restaurants these days have some type of signature fries. These look and taste like freezer fries. Step up the meat a bit and a different type of fries---and this review will go up!

Ive been going to the food truck in front of the Nursery in Ashburn for many years, but this was my first visit to the restaurant in Leesburg. The Chicago Style Polish is always my go to. While Ive never been to Chicago to try the real deal, I imagine this is what it should be. The restaurant has a pretty decent craft beer list, which is also a bonus. The space is a little on the small side, so I imagine it can get busy in prime time. That said, there was no wait when we got there. Ill definitely be back!

I have been here many times. Its REAL Chicago. The W.C.R.H.s, the Maxwell Street Polish, the Italian Beefs...all of it-its all great. its home away from home for me, a native Chicagoan. Best Chicago food in all of DC/Baltimore/VA/MD/WV/Southcentral PA in my book. Enjoy. Angel, the owner, makes you feel right at home. There is a map w/push pins of all the Chicago people "pinning" where they are from in Chicago. It is LOADED w/Chicagoans in this greater metropolitan area. ENJOY!

Very nice place to grab a quick meal in downtown Leesburg. I personally love the Italian Combo which is an Italian sausage topped with Italian beef. The hotdogs are great too. The Chicago style street tamale is a favorite as well, especially topped with chili, cheese and onions. Decent beer selection (bottles and cans, no draft), particularly the number of Great Lakes Brewing Company beers.

Went for a Sunday lunch. Service was provided by two aloof, unfriendly teenagers who looked as if they were being forced to work there. Didnt speak upon entering the restaurant which is as big as a walk in closet, stared at my wife and I as we surveyed the menu. Food was sub-par. Nothing special at all. Only bright spot? It was cheap. Wont be returning.

I have found an authentic Italian beef outside the Chicagoland area. If you are from Chicago, you know what I mean. If you are not from Chicago and you are a red meat meat eater, have an Italian beef, wet, with peppers of your choice and you will not be disappointed. All the menus item are authentic and tasty, not necessarily heart healthy :-)

This place is AWESOME! Authentic Chicago dogs and beef! Truly worth the trip!! Great folks! You will likely run into other Chicagoans and be ready to share your favorite dog house back in Chi town. They also sell the big packages for a party! My wife and kids surprised me on my 50th with a party AND Beef and Dogs!!!

For fun we got them to cater our wedding and it couldnt have gone any better. Angel, the owner, and his wife set everything up and went the extra mile with bringing buckets with ice for the sodas. We had a lot of children at our event so the food was a big hit. Much better than the normal rubber chicken wedding fair.

I have been to Windy City multiple times, and I am never disappointed! The delicious food itself deserves five stars, but the amazing and welcoming service really makes this place special. I always bring out of town guests to eat at Windy City, because it is truly one of Leesburgs gems!

So happy to have found a place in Northern Virginia to help with my Chicago cravings! They use Vienna Beef products which is a way to get the real taste of Chicago style hot dogs and polish. Their pizza puffs are also just like the ones in Chicago.
