Just walked out of this Bar Louie. Where should I begin? Its Tuesday night and the family wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. I called around and Bar Louie happed to be the only restaurant in the area that could accomodate 7 people without a wait time. So we went. We arrived and sat ourselves (bar tender hollered over that we could sit anywhere). We waited about 10 minutes to be greeted at the table by our server Trisha. I should have known it was going to be a rough one when I asked her how she was doing and she replied with a frazzled "ugh, its one of those nights." So, I placed our order for drinks and apps and about another 10 mins went by before our drinks came. Apps came out in decent time... but the real problem came with our entree orders. Its Tuesday night and Bar Louie has their $5 burger deal. We ordered 5 burgers, a caesar salad and a fish taco platter. 40 minutes later no food. When I asked Trisha for the status of our order, her reply was "your order is pretty large, but it should be coming out soon." I dont think she even made it to the kitchen to check. She was busy chatting it up with a table of 3 guys. Listen girl, I get it.. trying to make better tips. But you have other tables to tend too as well. About another 10 mintues went by, still no food & Trisha still at that table chatting. At this point Im frustrated. I turned around and asked her to cancel our order and just bring me the check for the apps and drink we consumed. She didnt hesitate. She came back to our table faster than ever with our check and the same excuse... "my manager took off the food. But its almost ready, you know it was a large order and its $5 Burger day so there were lots of orders and it backed up to 30 mins to cook." 1) dont blame it on the order size. (Especially if one of the 7 entrees we ordered was a salad.) 2) if its burger day, Im sure your kitchen should have been prepared to handle it. Bar Louie in Herndon doesnt seem to have this problem. 3) if the delayed cook time for burgers was 30 mins to cook... I gave you close to 50 mins to deliver. What happened? If I had to guess... you forgot to put our order in? A wasted hour at Bar Louie and with Trisha. We left and ended up at Chick-fil-A... you know, where service is fast & friendly... to grab the two younger ones a late dinner...

If I could give it zero stars I would. No one came to take our drink order, and the table near us even left because they never got their drinks. Apparently there were two employees in the restaurant eating and the server just kept waiting on them and no one else. We finally got our drinks and the water tasted like it was out of the toilet. We had to wait over an hour for our food even though there was only two other guests in the restaurant at the time (3pm). Then we realized two of the bar tenders got their food and it seemed the employees are more important than the guests. We have gone to Bar Louie 3 times before this and the food is always good but the service is usually slow. The waiters are no very professional. One was wearing a backpack and colorful socks with high top sneakers. The overall experience this time was extremely frustrating. Its a shame because the food and menu are good. We will not be going back.

This past Friday my fiancé and I were looking for a nice place to have dinner and drinks. We had been to bar Loui once before when my brother came to visit. We were sitting in the patio and one of the servers told us she was going to send another server to take our order, however 20min later we still had no drinks. I went inside and asked if someone was coming and the bartender told me they didnt know we were out there. This was a Saturday night and they had almost no one in the restaurant. Anyways, my fiancé and I decided to give it another try. We came in the restaurant and someone said " have a sit wherever you like;" so we sat down and started looking at the menu. The place seemed a little busy but not full at all! We waited 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. None of the servers ever came. We decided to leave and they didnt even notice it. We will never go back to this place again.

From entering the door to getting a round of water at my table took 20 minutes. 18 of those minutes were spent wondering whether or not a server was going to be coming to the table at all. After dropping off the water, the waiter took the food and beverage order. 45 minutes later, I walked out the door, having not received either my food or my beer. If the environment was designed to be an environment to relax in, that was not achieved, because the music was hard-core rap, filled with all sorts of swear words as though we were in a lowbrow establishment. On a positive side, the decor was very nice and the food listed the menu looks very good. I would not be able to speak to the quality of the food because I never got mine.

My first time going here and Ill never be back again!! Service is terrible and at paint nite we were promised a sample of the new drink they offer and never got it. They couldnt even get it together for a party of twelve at paint nite. Also this is not a family place, every female server had shorts on so tight and the size of underwear...it made me lose my appetite. Manager was sitting at a table for 2 hours never moved just sat there and flirted with servers. Bathroom was gross and people were using their phones to see their painting smh never again!!!

Slow service. The waiter acted as if we were annoying him by showing up. Two tables left because no one ever came to their table but on 4 other people in the entire restaurant. I ordered a second drink and it took nearly 15 Minutes because the bartender apparently went in break. This is third time in two months weve been here and the same lousy service. How do they stay in business?! We wont be back. Disappointing since it appeared to have a winning receipt for success. Boy, was I wrong - bad staffing is sinking this place.

Got take out from bar Louie - 1st time eating from the one in Manassas. The burger beef smelt and tasted bad/spoilt. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was over cooked and very hard to eat. The thai chicken flatbread bared had any thing on it. Im breastfeeding and hoping I dont get sick. Guess Ill eat cereal for dinner. Waste of our money. Id really like my money back but we drove 20 mins to get there to pick up the food. P.s. Weve preouisly eaten many of times at the Gainesville location and loved their food.

Good drink variety and simple bar style food choices. Service was very slow on a dead night and food was brought out a bit overcooked and missing. Beer was forgot about and ate all of food before receiving. If service and speed is brought up this could easily be a great young adult hang out, but would not recommend currently except if grabbing a few drinks after work. The atmosphere and menu are there. Once better and faster service is rolled out, I can easily see a potential 4-5 stars.
