This was our first time in and our second choice for the evening. From the moment we walked in we had fast, courteous service. From our wine and through the appetizers the environment, appeal, service and quality was great. Quickly we were started with correctly poured wines. The BFG Imperial dip was phenomenal. I had chosen the Sea scallops and shrimp with the herb pesto sauce along with the garlic whipped potatoes and steamed asparagus. Everything delivered its own unique flavor and was as fresh as possible. My partner had chosen the Chicken marsala with the same side selection. We were extremely satisfied and not only couldnt finish the food we had received our dessert plans were cast far away. During the great conversation and taste testing of the outstanding food we hadnt realized that the bar shut down. We were so caught up in our world that I had to ask the waiter what time they closed even though I saw online it said 10:00 pm. He informed us that they were closing at 8:00 pm this evening as the note on the door stated but we were not an inconvenience. We apologized and he said we could not get a refill on our wine due to the bar being completely shut down. We continued to explain that if we would have known we never would have come in and ordered. But as politely as anyone could be he continued to make sure we were happy and told us that it was his mistake for not telling us. We were very satisfied and plan on coming with plenty of time for our next evening. This restaurant will be highly recommended and we will be returning often. After research on the companies background and making I feel theyve done an outstanding job with the chain.

Reservation was set 4 days before our visit to this location. We arrived 10 minutes early and were handed a pager and were told it would not be much longer and that they were running behind. 30 minutes pass and I ask the stewardess how much longer. I was advised we would be seated very soon as five tables just cleared. I then observe 2 couples seated before us, one of which came in directly after us and I remember overhearing that they DID NOT have a reservation. At this point my pager does go off and hand it to the stewardess, only to be told...."oh, oops, hang onto this, your table isnt quite ready yet." Had to wait yet another 5 or so minutes. We kindly advised that this would not have been an oops had we been seated prior to those who did not have a reservation. The manager did comp our appetizer which was the only highlight of the meal, Bang Bang shrimp is always delicious although it was a little cold. The rest of the meal was an undercooked sirloin and a falling apart pile of crab that was riddled with shells and did not resemble at all the crab cake it was supposed to be. Our waitress was very apologetic and she did her best with what she had to work with. A reservation is supposed to be a reservation.... reserved seating for a pre scheduled time. Not whenever they feel like it. I will not be going back to this location.

I had a gift card for Bonefish Grill, and I was looking forward to my first visit to the one in Rockville, MD. We were halfway home and had driven 150 miles so far that day and were ready for a treat. I had a bad feeling about it after sitting down, when I was knocked hard in the kneecap by a high chair that was left under the table. I was horrified with the childrens menu. It was done poorly, so that kids chose greasy food matched with greasy fries. Oh well, thats par for the course, which is why we normally stick to special restaurants which arent chains. Our food was greasy and tasteless. My husband is not a picky man, but he was disgusted with his burger, which was a special of the night. Weve had much better burgers for half the price at Five Guys. We were in sticker shock when we got the bill - $50 for cardboard-tasting food for a family with three small children. Thankfully we had a $25 gift card -- uh, make that NO, because the manager said -- "Sorry! Our credit card machines are down! We cant accept your gift card!" So now were stuck with a $25 gift card. I hope it will sell on Ebay, because theres no way Im going back to Bonefish Grill. Well continue to eat up the road in Thurmont, MD, at the Family Restaurant, where my kids and I will at have a choice of fresh food and vegetables at a very reasonable price.

My husband, 14 year old granddaughter and I stopped a Bonefish a long day of traveling. We were seated in the bar and debated about who was driving. Clearly we were not going to run up an impressive bar bill. My granddaughter ordered the Lobster Roll and thoroughly enjoyed it and the lovely french fries. At one point the waiter offered to refill her water and chatted with another group for about 5 minutes with her glass in hand before returning with more water. My husband had an Ahi dish that was great. I opted to trade the crab cake in the offered soft crab special for another soft crab. Our waiter said the price was the same and asked which two sides I wanted. I chose sugar snap peas and corn risotto. When the bill came there was a $5 charge for extra food. We questioned the waiter who said he would have it taken care of. A man in black, the chef?, came out and explained that the food they served cost money but he had removed the charge. Clearly, the waiter didnt know about the charge and the chef was was less than gracious. We had a lovely meal served by a waiter who was confused about charges on the menu more interested in the other customers than our table. Although the food was outstanding, I would be reluctant to return to the Frederick Bonefish due to the less than professional service.

Perfect venue for date night! Cozy atmosphere with polite waiters, the Bonefish lives up to its reputation. The seafood came out clean, crisp, and fresh. Beautiful presentation followed up by savory flavors. The seating is limited, the wait can be long, and the establishment is always full, however, it is worth the wait! While my date and I had to wait 20 mins for a table, a waiter came around with a plate of appetizers to taste for those in line. Compared to other big chain seafood restaurants, the prices are more reasonable and you leave fully satisfied.

The chain restaurant, owned by Outback Steakhouse, is impersonal and staff is fake friendly - like they are trying really hard for a big tip. The food is top notch if you like salt and oil, as is should be for the $15 - $22 per entree, but this corporate-style seafood restaurant should not be mistaken for a local specialty. If youre visiting the area please try something that is a local specialty instead of an upscale McDonalds (ie: you can get this in almost any city).

This place was great! Our server, Chelsea did a great job! Loved being greeted as we walked in and going right to our table. Chelsea was very patient as it was only our second time there. She answered all our questions and was on top of everything we needed. The drinks were fantastic! Food was amazing. I loved the lamb chops. Then they brought out a bowl of delicious dessert for my birthday and a signed card from everyone there. Love this place! We will be going back.
