I love this bakery. I used to regular a Korean bakery down the street. Since I found Manoa, I havent been back. The people who work the counter at Manoa are really nice. Though theyre busy, they dont make you feel like they cant wait for you to let the next person pay. Its generally busy, but I never feel rushed. I also like the look of the bakery. Its a large space, and they have plenty of seating. Now about the food . . .Every time I go to Manoa, I try a different baked good and a different drink. I havent found one that I didnt like. Their strawberry soboro cookie is quite tasty. I also really enjoyed their custard bread. The last time I went, I got one of the honey breads. It was just over $5, included an inside-out, grilled cheese sandwich that had honey in it. It also came with a salad and banana, neither of which I was expecting. I also have been trying their Korean teas. Their honey citron tea was one of the tastiest teas Ive ever had. I wanted to go right back and have another. I find Manoa both pleasant and tasty. I would highly recommend it.

I only saw this place because I saw the illy sign. Its clean and trendy inside, comfy chairs, and nice open space. I had a breakfast sandwich, eggs and bacon. The bread was white bread that was lightly buttery and flakey, the eggs and bacon a good size. I love that it came with a little side salad which was fresh and a little sweet in the dressing. It feels like a trendy cafe in DC but quiet, friendly, and roomy inside. I dont live around here, but Ill make a point to stop here. I use to work at a coffee shop bakery as a manager, and I find this one super up to par in appeal and comfort.

Compared to the other Korean bakery options in the area I would say that Manoa would be my least favorite. I was delighted to see that they had a chocolate chip soboro but was very disappointed when I tried it. Some of the items were also mislabeled. For example, something was labeled walnut rather than what was obviously almond which could be dangerous for some people. The space was ok but the location is also awkward and parking is limited.

Came here based on reviews. Worth the trip! I had a sandwich salad coffee and bakery item. I dont go to shilla very often because they are so impersonal there. The staff at Manoa is VERY pleasant - a big difference between Manoa and other similar bakeries. Not to mention the food is just as good if not better. Wish there was one of these near where I live. Everything delicious and first rate.

Ive been to this location ever since it was Le Matin de Paris. I go here pretty often. They have a decent selection of breads, pastries, cakes. I usually come here for bingsoo or the smoothie. I like the atmosphere in here. It isnt really a good study environment in my opinion but I see people studying and doing their work here. It is slow on the weekdays, but busy on the weekends and nights

A fresh selection of baked goods, a wide variety of beverages, and excellent attention. This is a great bakery to become a regular of. The place itself looks nice, clean and functional, and even if it gets a bit crowded sometimes, the staff never takes too long to get to your order. Added to that, a private parking space, and you have a café worth coming back to.

This place is underrated. Ive been going to Shilla for 5+ years and I still like it, but the boba here -- and many bread -- is no where subpar to Shillas products. The decor is beautiful and there are OUTLETS and fast wifi. Shilla has no outlets and you cant stay there for long because of the employees. They kind of watch whos staying there without drinks/bread.

Friday morning, June 4, waited out front thirty minutes for the bakery to open their doors. Come 7 am the door says open but the door is locked with staff working inside. All they do is keep what they were doing and wouldnt open the door to say anything. Real nice way to treat the customer. Needless to say I wont be back.

My favorite bingsoo place in Annandale. Their texture is more "snow"like than the coarser grain of others. Green tea is definitely the best option. They also have good toast in both sweet and savory options. Their pastry options are not as great but youre here for the bingsoo anyway.

빵 맛있어요! 빙수 주문했었는데 나왔다고 안알려줘서 한참 기다리다가 카운터 갔더니 바빠서 잊어버리셨다고... 그것 빼곤 괜찮았음.

Started coming here for the bubble tea which is great! I love that their boba has so many different colors; just adds a fun touch. Their pastries are very fresh! I come in when they first open and see them baking away. Definitely give this place a try!

Decent selection of baked goods, however I think Shilla bakery down the road has the upper hand when it comes to variety. The drinks here are pretty good. I got the Thai tea and it was just the right amount of sweetness. Private parking lot outside

Came here and hung out for an afternoon one Sunday. Plenty of tables, outlets, WiFi, drinks, and awesome pastries. The bingsoo is kind of unusual, very finely grained ice pellets mixed with sweet stuff. Interesting. Recommended as a place to chill.

My first visit: Very clean, open space, not as crowded as Shilla bakery. overall good selection, though some of the bakery is a little bit too moist in my opinion, so they wont last as long without refrigeration.. a good alternative to Shilla.

Great sandwiches and coffee. This place reminds me of the coffee shops in Seoul. The bakery is also very tasty and delicious. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the DMV. I would definitely recommend that you visit this place.

Not my favorite of the bakeries in the area, but they are surrounded by some great competition. Items seemed a bit more expensive for a similar product. Not quite as inventive as their neighboring bakeries W.r.t. to new baked goodies.

Very nice, clean atmosphere. We ordered the fruit bingsoo, but it was too sweet because there was way too much syrup. Im sure the bakerys other options are fine, but I would never order the bingsoo again.

Their coffee is good. The way they make their bing soo is off the hook. Its like I am actually eating snow with ice cream and toppings in it. Its actual snow, not crushed ice. Nice atmosphere.

Tucked away in a low-profile shopping center off Little River Turnpike, Manoa is a gem among stones, and I find it one of the best study spots in the Annandale/Fairfax area.

A great Korean cafe thats open later than most in the area. In addition to a huge variety of baked goods, they offer great dessert, coffee, tea, milk tea and Bingsu

Fantastic place for coffee and baked Korean desserts, including tofu chips, snow ice, bubble tea, and manju buns. If youre missing Asia, this is a good stop.

I love their green tea bingsoo, but the portion is either too big or too small. The place is over flown sometime. Other than that the bakery is fresh.
