My family and friends experienced the worst case of food poisoning that weve ever had after bringing home a large order of take out from picking up food there this past weekend. My husband ended up going to the urgency clinic from severe dehydration and passing out on one of his many trips to the bathroom. The food itself was not as impressive as people made it out to seem. We believe if may been from the pork dish that had some cabbage on the side. The cabbage smelled putrid and we immediately stopped eating, but this was apparently much too late. We were incapacitated for the next 24 hours.

I ordered on Christmas day, as my family was away, and I didnt much feel like cooking just for myself. The food was terrible. I got sesame chicken, which was mostly fat and gristle. The woman who took my order offered fried rice, for an additional charge,which I thought would be tasty! The rice wasnt fried. it was steamed, with some soy sauce mixed in for color and tasted like they made a huge pot full at 5 am and let it sit out all day. All I can say is, never again! Merry Christmas! Dont waste your money here, youll be disappointed!

For the price, it is an excellent value and the service is second to none. Family run and very friendly. I am surprised to see the low star ratings here. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like I need to step up to the plate after reading what it here. This place IS good and provides a good value. Not an elegant sit down restaurant.. it is just basic ( like fast food atmposphere) but for the price, it is excellent. We have probably eaten here 30 times over the last several years, and never had anything that we would complain about.

Taipei Cafe offers a wide array of Chinese food choices of mostly Americanized style Chinese. The prices are very reasonable, especially the daily specials. While primarily a takeout place there is some seating available for dine-in. I had the crispy fish filet, which was very tasty. I tried the combination Lo Mein and the chicken fried rice, and found both also to be very good. On top of that, the service was very quick and the people seemed nice. Highly Recommended!

Much bigger on the inside than I had imagined. Great customer service! The waitress was kind and patient as we perused the menu. English is not the first language, but if you take the time to ask questions they will respond. We almost ordered too much food but she advised us that the portions were large and saved us a bit of money and stopped us from wasting food. Much appreciated! Everything was flavorful and tasted great. Wonderful place to stop for authentic food.

算是蠻道地的台灣味，三杯雞、魚丸湯、鹹酥雞……種類很多，還有剉冰、珍奶。白飯也不錯~ 週一~週五有商業午餐，三菜一湯23.85美金，大約是2~3人的合菜，蠻划算的。

Ordered the combo dinner of general tso chicken. It was swimming in sweet sauce had a thick doughy breading. Not good. The hot and sour soup was not worth eating. The spring roll was ok. The steamed brown rice was fine. Husband had the same except with wonton soup which had an odd taste. Unfortunately most of this will go in the trash.

The food is tasteless. I tried them numerous times and various foods. Its always the same, The only taste that you can taste is sugar and spice. Nothing else has taste. Rice is tasteless meet is rubbery is tasteless vegetables are tasteless. I have no idea who rated the food at four stars. They are most certainly not there.

I usually am satisfied with general Tso chicken from this restaurant but this time I took a bite into my chicken and it was not fully cooked. There was a doughy white substance in it. I called to inform them and they seemed very careless.

always very good. my kids love the chicken lo mein and the general tsos chicken. we like the egg rolls too. the bad reviews surprise me - this is like a mom and pop chinese place - eat there 2x per month
