Quite possibly one of the worst "dining" experiences of my life. If you can even call what we did dining. Went here recently for dinner in the late afternoon. Place was about 60-75% capacity Id guess and we waited about 10-15 minutes for our table (about average for any sit down place in my experience). We were led to our table and they seated my group of 4 at a fairly small table (which was clearly intended for only 2 people). It had 3 chairs. Hostess or whomever she was couldnt be bothered to add a 4th chair for us, so we had to do that. Not a huge deal, but when you dine out, you do so with the idea that you will be served/waited on, not have to do things yourself. So then we looked over the menus and youd think wed get to order drinks within 5 minutes or so. Well youd be wrong. We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited (you get the point). No server ever came. In fact, no one ever came to see us the whole time we waited. After about 15-20 minutes (Im guessing because I didnt actually time it). One of my group members went to ask what the problem was. They said theyd send the manager over. We gave them another 5-10 minutes, still nothing. We were by this point pissed/hungry/fed up and got up and left, still not having been spoken to by anyone there. One of the hostesses just did the have a good night spiel as we left, like we had actually been served/eaten in that time period...AFTER we had complained to the same hostess. We wound up going somewhere else and had been served within 5 minutes of being seated at our second choice of eatery. I dont know if they were understaffed or what, but that was simply ridiculous. I cant review the food, because I never got to eat any of it let alone order any. Its a shame Lone Star closed, because we used to go there every year and NEVER had this problem there. This was my first time ever at a Longhorn and will likely be my last as having to wait that long to even get drinks is unacceptable. Id rate this place negative stars if I could. Oh and I almost forgot. Not only all of the above happened, but another group who got there AFTER us and was seated AFTER us got served their drinks and food BEFORE we even got to order drinks. Unbelievable.

Do not go here. I have been here twice. First time I had a burger. It like like they just whopped the burger from the pan to the plate grease and all. And on top of all that, the buns they used looked as if they were the cheap food lion brand. After my first greasy filled bite, the grease sopped up the buns and made them flat as a pancake. I filled a complaint to the company and they sent me a gift card, so I decided to try it again. Shouldnt have tried it. This time my wife tried something else, and there was a hair in her food. Waitress at first denied it was from anyone in the kitchen, but it was a long black hair. I have short brown hair, she has medium blonde hair. So manager came out and got her another one. By the time that came out I was done, so manager got us a free dessert. Amidst all of this, we had asked for bread to the waitress and manager constantly and it NEVER came out. Even though we had a coupon for free appetizer, gift card for food (which my wifes meal was free due to the hair), and a free dessert (paid nothing for the whole meal), I would not go there again. Maybe it was because it had recently opened and they didnt have experienced workers. I dont know.

Wife wanted to have a small birthday gathering with me and the kids. Went to Outback to pay for the meal in advance and to leave the cake to surprise me. Hostess said that they couldnt hold the cake for the 30 minutes it took to drop it off and get me there. She asked to speak to the manager and the Hostess said she couldnt and they dont hold cakes or anything like that. Was rude to my wife. We ended up going to Longhorn up the road which had the best food. I use to go to Outback for my birthday and fathers day. But now that we know that Outback sucks; we wont be returning to the Hampton Virginia location. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time and go to Longhorn and ask for Ms. Joyce at Longhorn in Hampton Virginia. You wont regret it. They know how to treat customers. I didnt find out about the incident until later in the night. But the highlight of my birthday was the celebrity treatment I got from Longhorn. The T-bone Steak was the best. I will be going back regularly. The Salad was excellent as well.

Typically I like the Longhorn Steakhouse, but we had the absolute worst service during our visit to the Hampton, VA location which made the experience overall poor. We were dining with our active duty son and pregnant daughter-in-law during a family visit, and were repeatedly ignored by our waitress. We were not provided drink refills. We were not checked on to see if we needed anything. We asked several times for boxes and a check, and each time our waitress came through the dining room shed pass our table and refuse to look in our direction. After waiting for probably twenty minutes beyond finishing our meal we flagged down another server for the boxes and check our waitress had been repeatedly asked for and never brought. The food quality was decent, typical Longhorn, but for whatever reason, this waitress did not want to do her job.

The 16oz prime rib was small, tough, dry and mostly not edible. I sent it back and still ended up with its twin brother. I ordered the sweet potato with it which was good but tasted better than it was presented. The salad i was supposed to get i had to ask for after my meal was half way gone. My husband ordered a t-bone and it was also dry and very thin and asked for med well and it was well done everywhere except raw around the bone. He had the French onion soup with his meal which tasted like it sat for a while and he also had to ask her for it when the meal was halfway finished. I had a peach lemonade which was good, the blackberry lemonade was also delicious and the sweet tea was good. Our server was amazing and the manager was accommodating. I will not ever choose to eat there again

Went to this restaurant for the first time ever. The floors right when we walked in were filthy, there was food on the floor and trash. The tables were dusty and the bathrooms were filthy. There was poop sprayed on the toilet and the floor had so much trash the were NO toilet tissues in any of the stalls for my child to use on the toilet. The sink space in the bathroom was nasty. This restaurant in my opinion needs to be cleaned and regularly since it is a place where people eat. On the other note the service was super friendly and informative. The food was greasy but very good it was real yummy so thats why I gave them 3 stars because even though it was dirty the food and staff were good.
