I LOVE sandwiches! Potbelly Sandwich Shop has a nice variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. I was impressed with their vegetarian option called the Mediterranean. It had a great taste to it with the red peppers, hummus, and artichokes. The flavor was pumped up when I added the hot peppers and pickles. The bread was fresh, and the soup was piping hot on a cold winters evening. I was impressed with the staff as they were ready and willing to create a wonderful, taste-filled experience for each client. The milk and fruit shake/smoothie offerings were standard, but they happily offered to create any combination of flavors for me. I was totally not disappointed with the strawberry oreo smoothie shake I had with the dinner. Deliciousness all around. Clean tables, nice atmosphere. I only wish that the salad menu had a few more vegetarian options. Im trying to go low-carb/no bread. A Mediterranean salad would be a great selection. A wonderful experience. Give it a try.

Full disclosure: this place gets 5 stars not because I love it but because my wife loves it. The subs here are not huge, rather they are reasonably sized. They do cost a little bit more than what you might find at other sub shops. I assume the extra cost is due to the quality of the sandwiches, which is high. Ive never had a bad sandwich here, usually I go for the wreck ( their signature sandwich ) or an Italian sandwhich. The service is typically friendly and accommodating. I would say the decor is going for quaint, and largely succeeds.

I love going to this store. The people are always friendly and heloful. The food always tastes good and is made quickly. I love the online ordering option which helps to save time when Im headed to school. I enjoy how they support local musicians as well. I only wish they did a frequent buying card or did something for students but they do.offer a free cookie on your birthday.

I am the wife of a man who works there. And it is probably the best sandwich shop in Richmond! And Im not just saying that because my husband works there. It is always fresh, always delicious, and the people are always helpful and cheerful. The atmosphere is so inviting, as well. Very simple and very retro. Great place to eat and listen to great musicians throughout the week.

I love potbellys!!! Esp the awreck sandwich, with hot peppers and Italian seasoning yummy!! The people are super helpful and really nice and accommodating!!! The only difference I see btw this and others in DC and Chicago is that the counter is really high so I dont see them put on the toppings etc. and no music.

Im not much of a sandwich person. While the sandwiches here are priced more, theyre delicious and filling. Its great for going for a quick bite to eat or just with family or friends. This location is conveniently located near Innsbrook.

It not that great. And the guy inside was Condon sending in off-putting. And the floors were disgusting and filthy. The cups were extremely flimsy and crushed easily in your hand

8 minutes or fewer in line is more than just a slogan. Speedy fast. The Mediterranean flat is great. Dont miss the bag of small oatmeal chocolate chip cookies at the register.

By far my favorite place for a (surprise) salad on the go. Try the Uptown salad and substitute the grilled chicken for chicken salad. Its amazing!
