Leesburg Resident

This place had opened recently to stopped by to try it out. The ambiance in the restaurant is very nice with high backed booths and dim lighting. The downside is that the food is terrible. The chips and salsa were both very bland with the chips being very hard like they were stale. I ordered the taco salad and was very disappointed as it tasted terrible and there was just a little bit of lettuce in the salad. The ground beef tasted bad and later that night while asleep, I awoke with a terrible stomach ache and had to take some Alka Seltzer to calm it down. I know it was the beef in the taco salad that got to me as it did not taste fresh at all. Will not be returning here and is too bad since it is really has a nice atmosphere. Also the waiter spoke only broken English and I had no idea what he was saying.

Im giving it five stars because its the best Mexican restaurant food Ive had in ten years of living in Northern Viriginia. Im of Mexican descent, born and raised in Texas, and very picky about Mexican food. Other places Ive tried in the area have left a lot to be desired but this place was quite satisfying. I ordered the Tacos de Carne Asada with beans and a side of rice and it was all very tasty. I also had a mojito and the guacamole appetizer. My party of five and I were very pleased.

I ordered a combo that came with a burrito, an enchilada, and a taco. The burrito and enchilada were both covered in what tasted like spaghetti sauce and the insides contained plain ground beef. The taco also had plain ground beef with lettuce on top. There was no seasoning on any of the food. We also ordered a combo that came with a quesadilla and an enchilada. The only difference in them was the shape of the flour tortilla. The food was terrible and bland. We will not be returning.

None of the food had seasoning on it. My enchilada was literally a tortilla with bland chicken and a smidgen of salsa. My tamali was burnt on the sides and was hard to chew. My husbands taco had plain beef and lettuce with no seasoning what so ever. He couldnt even finish it. The food was terrible and we will not be going back.

Food was good and arrived surprisingly fast. Our server was attentive and professional, but the prices are a bit high and they charge for almost everything, like sour cream and extra tortillas. $18 for a fajita platter that doesnt come with enough tortilla wrappers unless you pay extra?

Dinner was fantastic! Large portions, fresh and creative ingredients, and reasonably priced. The salsa, fish tacos, burritos, and salads were tasty and flavorful. We had a party of nine and the service was great. I would definitely eat hear again and looking forward to it!

Nice people, waiters and decor. Thats about it though. When it comes to the food, no. Everything me and my kids had was pretty bad. Cold, "freshly made", churros to end the meal didnt help. I hope this gets better or that others simply have a better experience.

Nice place. Good service. Good salsa. Food was good but lacked real flavor. No spiciness. If your a hamburger only kinda person I suggest a beef taco - youll love it.

Great restaurant, great atmosphere, but everything was just kind of.... bland. If you enjoy Mexican, but arent a big fan of spice, this may be the place for you.
