I had my wedding here on October 4th, 2014. I booked both the upstairs and the downstairs so we would have exclusive use of the INN. It was pretty much a shambles. I booked all nine rooms so myself and my wedding party could get ready there uninterrupted and have a lovely day before the ceremony and reception. I was told we could get in the bridal suite at 12. It was understood that there would NOT be any other bridal parties or weddings since I had booked the entire Venue (or at least I thought it was). When I arrived at 12:30 there was another bride, her entire bridal party, and her photographers there in the bridal suite getting ready, taking pictures, etc. They were not asked to leave and in fact had had there rehearsal dinner there the night before, had stayed the night, had plans to stay all day, be photographed all over the venue, have her flowers delivered there, and then her horse and buggy arrived to take her to her own wedding at another wedding venue at 2:30 pm. My wedding started at the Kenmore at 4 pm. Needless to say I was panicked, hyperventilating and just freaking out. It was awful. The GM, Jackie said "she was taking care of it" and that she had asked the other bride and her party to leave. She said they had called the room, banged on the door, and the other girl refused to leave. (Somewhat hard to believe since they had coned of spaces for the other brides horse and buggy in front of the Inn). Which didnt change the fact that me and my bridal party were shoved into a tiny room to get ready (7 people), and we lost all of the pre-arranged photography shots that my photographer had gone down there two weeks in advance to get of my dress, shoes, etc in the bridal suite. and that I was getting my make-up done next to a toilet, instead of on the couch in the bridal suite living room. It was really bad, and the GM lied to my face throughout the entire experience and acted as if she was so offended at the other brides actions and that she had no idea that the other bride had the intention of doing that. (She said the other bride booked the bridal suite and she just didnt check out on time at 11 am, and there was nothing she could do to make her leave). The other bride left her room in full regalia at 2:30 was photographed in front of my family and friends all over the venue (didnt pay for the right to be there) had her flowers delivered there, and left finally in her horse and buggy carriage. I emailed the others brides photographers (Kitt Creative) who told me that the Kenmore knew full well of the other brides plans, and never asked anyone to leave while they were there. So the truth all came out in the end. On top of that we paid $45.00 per person and most of my guests left early to go get food because the food came out really, really slow and everyone was starving. A group of 8 of my guests left together at 7pm and went to Outback. I was mortified when I heard this I wanted to cry. As for making right what she did, She ended up giving us our room for free after I asked her to the next day, she didnt offer. She continued the "I didnt know anything routine" until I confronted her with the photographers email to which she stopped responding altogether. She wouldnt give me the owners information when I asked for it, and said she would forward my concerns to them. Somehow I doubt that very seriously. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Which is pretty bad to say about your wedding day. Really had she admitted she messed up and double booked the venue and offered to make it right, it would have been fine, but what she did was totally wrong, unethical, and of poor judgement and character. If you make a mistake just be honest and own up to it, dont make it worse but lying and trying to cover it up. She really damaged my wedding day. It was awful. If you are thinking about get married there, just beware of who you are dealing with.

If we can give less stars, we would. We emailed with Jacqueline, the events manager back in October 2016 about blocking the rooms for us, and we were told three separate times that the rooms were blocked for us for our event in November 2017, between emails and phone conversations. My fiance and I are incredibly disappointed in the fact that we were just told that all of a sudden, the rooms are not available because they give the rooms to a different wedding. Not only were we told by email that the rooms were blocks, we visited Kenmore back in December 2016 to meet with Jacqueline to finalize our rehearsal dinner and room block, and yet she did not show up. We took the tour with Susan, who was quite nice and showed us the Inn. Susan also confirmed that our rooms were blocked for our event in November 2017. Do not book with Kenmore, it is a nice Inn but the staff are disrespectful and do not have any customer values.

Normally I have an amazing experience from the menu to the atmosphere and the service. But, and I assume something unforseen could have occured, my familys Thanksgiving dinner was less than to be desired. From what food we did get, it was delicious. The service on the other hand left much wanting. It took over and hour to be served even out first course and wine. Now again, something could have happened in the kitchen or otherwise, the true problem was any lack of apologetic response from our server. We just got told that it was coming multiple times like we were in the wrong for even asking. Honestly I will return, just hoping that some changes could be made to better serve guests in a manner befitting such a great establishment.

We should have known better- Saturday night and only one table was taken! Despite an extensive on-line menu, and the same one displayed by the door, we were handed a piece of paper- after ordering very expensive cocktails- and told that only the few dishes listed were being served by the new chef. We decided to have our drinks and go, but not before ordering tomato soup ($6), which was brown and absolutely inedible. The restaurant is pretty, but they only serve in the pub- how bizarre- and it was dingy and unappealing. Dont go!

We had my birthday gathering there. We assumed we would be seated upstairs in the fancy white tablecloth section, but were sent down to the basement for our meal. The waiter/bartender was extremely nice but not very attentive, especially since we were the only people there. We ordered something on the menu but were told they didnt have it. The food was probably the worst food we ever had. None of the six of us liked anything we ordered except for the coffee, which was delicious.

Muggy and disappointing.. Stayed because of the haunted appeal. Nothing... Even though nothing happen we wanted to enjoy our anniversary. After tossing and turning until 3 in the morning we finally grabbed our stuff and left for the quality inn (which I might add is 100% more comfortable and half the price). I am pretty sure the bed at Kenmore is original to the time the building was built. Ouch.. TV are super small. Only good thing was the Jacuzzi tub. Over all NEVER again!!
