Was one of my go-to places for a long time, but some bad experiences made me stop going. Occasionally, when Id order the chicken sandwich, Id get some crazy stale french fries mixed in with the regular fries. They were so hard and stale that I seriously believed they were from the previous day. I was able to overlook this since the sandwich is good. Last time I was there for lunch they were cleaning down the rails and counters with wet, white rags. While Im eating (my chicken sandwich again) employees were holding up the rags, which were now mostly black, to show each other how "disgusting" they looked. That was it, done! Couldnt even finish my food. Im probably just the exception, as most people really like this place, but I will never get the trauma of that last experience out of my head.

I was introduced to the 90 minute at a place in DC called Iron Horse and immediately fell in love. I went to this place with three friends and wanted to try the 120 which they did not have. Josh, our bartender, was very patient in helping me pick another beer to try- and I have to say I LOVED Midas Touch. Great choice, Josh! We shared some nachos and hung for a couple of hours before leaving. One comment about the decor- it needs to be brightened up just a bit- reminds me of all the other places housed in this building before it and resembles all the other "English Pubs" type bars in the DC area. Maybe get more high tops instead of the low tables in the bar area. Overall- good casual place to have a brew with friends. I would recomend it.

I love Dogfish head beer and their food is almost as good as their brew which puts it above a lot of pub food. I have been to the brew house in Delaware and though it cant beat the original the break off alehouses come very close. At this location I have only had the burgers which are amazing (always ask about the weekly burger theyre usually amazing!) If youre feeling like taking a few years off your life try the deep fried bacon its to die for. I give this Alehouse a full five stars because the beer. I follow Dogfish head and all of their special edition brews and if you havent stopped by to try the food or the latest beer then drop what youre doing and head in for a pint and some food.

The beer here is very good. However, it is not your typical beer. If you want a Bud Lite, dont come here! It is always an adventure to try some of their more exotic beers. Their IPAs are very good. The food is also excellent. I cant remember a bad meal here. I really like their Cajun Eggrolls and my wife is a fan of their onion rings, she is very picky about good onion rings and Dogfish does them right. Their woodfired pizzas are always good. However, stick with the more standard toppings. Some of their daily special pizzas miss the mark, such as the sausage pizza with bratwurst. It is ALWAYS loud in here. Its not the best place for a conversation.

Although its not directly related to the real DogFish Head restaurant or brewery in Rehoboth Beach, its pretty much the closest youll get without making the drive. This collection of a handful of locations in the DC area are the only DFH restaurants outside of the main one in Rehoboth, done in partnership with the brewery. The food is excellent, but the menus not quite as clever as the Rehoboth location. The beer, however, is the same stuff, and they always have tons of DFH stuff on tap with a lot of the rarer stuff available in bottles. One of the best places in the DC area to go to get excellent food (not standard bar fare) combined with delicious beers.

Been going here for more than eight years. Still love the place, the food, the staff, and the beer of course. Weve tried most everything on the menu. Here is a list of some great stuff: Apps--chili, crab dip, Thai wings Sandwiches--salmon sandwich, steak bomb, grouper, burgers Salads--Greek. Actually all are good. Entrees--Mac n cheese, fish n chips, jambalaya w rice (actually not like real jambalaya but it is crazy good) Specials--often really good monthly specials. Our favorites include shrimp poboy, fajitas, salad w goat cheese fritters. Desserts--never have room left to try them. Beers--burton baton, 75, half 60 half seasonal, black n tan

I had very low expectations when stopping by while finding myself hungry. I was out running errands and didnt want fast food or anything heavy. I took a seat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. The margarita was perfect, and refreshing. I had the chicken bacon and shrimp salad and the whole grain mustard vinaigrette made my whole day. Delicious! My only advise, for those looking to watch sports at the bar, is the TVs are positioned terribly and the only way youre going to see it without turning around is to take a booth instead of sitting at the actual bar.

Had a blast a this place. I was worried that all theyd have were the IPAs, but our waitress helped me pick out some of the maltier choices, such as the Raison Detre and the Chicory Stout (to name a couple). They had a huge selection of DFH brews - I didnt realize how many DFH makes! The humus platter was okay, but I was there for the beer, not the food. Took about 5 minutes to get seated even though it was very busy on a Tuesday night. I will go back for some more beers for sure.

Good range of beer types. The food is standard pub faire, nothing really special, but nothing bad either. I usually get the wings. Ive never had a problem with the service; bartenders are always friendly and quick, even when the place is crowded. Prices are typical for NoVA. Parking in the Greenbriar Shopping Center can be a pain sometimes, better to come early vs. late in the evening most weeknights. The place can get loud around the bar when its crowded. Definitely recommend.

Visit the place with my wife and honestly we had a very good experience here. Our order was a nachos with beef and a classic salad with sauce. The nachos were amazing and the salad. Its a pretty affordable place, it has good customer service, even the waitress helped us with the nachos recommending the steak and it was pretty good to eat. They are quick to take your order and serve it, in some places it takes a lot to even take your order. I really liked it and would go back!

I visited dogfish a few weeks ago with my girlfriend for my birthday. The place was bustling, but there was enough staff present to handle it. All our interactions with the staff were entirely positive, and our waiter in particular was very attentive and knowledgable of the beer and food menus. We wound up getting a few beers each, an appetizer and two sandwiches for a grand total of about $55. would I go back? Definately.

I will com again as I was here for a quick lunch. My lunch was alright. I ordered the rustic burger and enjoyed it. The burger was average meat and taste. The caramelized onions was a nice addition. The fries were not for me, I thought they were too dry/plain. Service was efficient, the waitress had us in and out. The only thing I would say about the service was I felt rushed through the entire meal.
