Indian Graduate Student Association GMU
Indian Graduate Student Association, registered student organization of George Mason University had Paradise as their official caterer for the annual GMU Indian cultural night 2016. Their service, quality, price quote and most importantly being flexible are the most commendable attributes of this restaurant. We had them cater food for 600 international students and faculty of GMU and everyone was so much in love with the delicious food. The management is down to earth and helped us prepare the menu with budget constraints we had. We recommend Paradise Biryani Pointe for all sorts of catering needs for any event.

Review for lunch buffet on 09/20/2016 - Went there for office lunch. All appetizers tasted good. When I tried Biryani and Salaan together, i smelled something odd and realized Salaan was spoiled. Probably they served last nights or previous day Salaan. Notified working personnel and that was removed. Funny part was he didnt seem surprised. I tried Biryani again separately and that was spoiled too. It smelled much bad than Salaan. Notified them again and it was replaced. Did not dare to try again. Apparently, store manager was not available as he only works during Friday & weekends. Not going back.

Two colleagues and I went in to the restaurant around 7:15 on a Thursday evening. Apart from one person who picked up a take-out order & left, there was no other customer in a 100ish person restaurant. We asked if they were open, and the girl at the counter said yes. We took menus and sat down, but after five minutes no one had come by - the three of us were the only customers in the place. We walked out. Quite a strange experience - a perfect opening for a mystery or horror movie perhaps, but not a good opening for a dinner. We had a nice meal at the Woodlands around the corner.

If you are a chicken lover then it could be a good spot. They have spicy chicken vindaloo, chicken bamboo, Chicken Kathi, curry chicken , tandoori chicken, chicken 65 etc. . But all the other items may disappoint you. If you are a vegetarian then I dont think tye food here will satisfy your hunger. I have found dirty chair sometimes , the staff members are not that friendly. I have been here more than 10 times just for those chicken. I d love yo visit this place if they work on cleanliness and change the food option .

This is one of the worst place , we had been to this place on Feb15th for buffet, they kept all the left over food from previous day (Valentines day), and they didnt even heat the food and there was no burner to heat the food, the food smels very bad, and was sticky.. they should ban this place.. I am going to write a letter to the concerned department about this place and the quality of the food they serve...

Apart from the biryanis, which cannot even be called a proper Hyderabadi Biryani everything else is disgusting. Ordered tandoori chicken for which we got 5 small measly dry drumsticks and the egg curry was absolutely foul. My little cat could make better food than that!!! Small portions and not worth the money. If youre looking for a decent Indian meal, then avoid this place at all costs!

Two stars because the only good thing was the fast service. We ordered goat nariyali and it was terrible. We asked the waitress if it has bones and he said "NO", and then we got the dish with very little bones in the curry. I couldnt eat peacefully. The waitress hardly understood English. And finally.. They DONT take discover o American Express cards. Not recommended.

I went to 3 to 4 times this restaurant and I am ordering chicken,Veg biryani and gobi manchurian. They providing is worst (chicken,Veg biryani and gobi manchurian)... I think this guys have enough money because they dont care about the customers and the quality of the food they are providing. Wish you bad luck if you still want to order something from here.

Very low quality food in a very basic place. The people were friendly but clearly with no professional training. I love indian food, yet it was ultra spicy even though I have asked for mild spicy. Cleanliness is not at all a priority here. It looks like a gathering point for young people. An over all poor experience and I will not repeat again.

We had multiple dishes. Went as a group of friends. The spicy chicken briyani and the masala approached true Hyderabadi standards. The spicy chilly Panneer, Malai kofta amongst others are items Id heartily recommend. Best Indian in DC, yet. May be a little tough for Americans though since the spice levels are authentic to Indian standards

Ive visited this place today for buffet February 13 at 1 PM the food is horrible hard and dry. The naans were hard as a rock chip. Got the servers attention to it and he pretended like it was no big deal had to wait 15 minutes for him to bring the fresh naans. Guess what my appetite was done I left the place with major dissatisfaction.

Went for a Catering order for 55 adults plus few kids, and selected add-ons for live Chat and Pani Poori station. Courteous management and staff, entire experience was good. Food quality was also good with chat being the highlight ! Definitely recommend that if anyone is looking for Simple Indian Catering.

Hope there is NO STAR option for rating. Ordering chicken or mutton biryani is same as ordering veg pulav... I think this guys have enough money because they dont care about the customers and the quality of the food they are providing. Wish you bad luck if you still want to order something from here.

The buffet used to be good but not anymore! Went last Sunday for the lunch buffet and the food tasted horrible. There was no flavor at all. Almost all the dishes except for the chicken biriyani was tasteless! The standard has gone down tremendously. I used to love this restaurant but not anymore.

WORST INDIAN FOOD EXPERIENCE IN THE U.S. came here for lunch buffet on a Sunday. No Indian bread(NAAN) for almost an hour. And when I asked for the same, they said will serve it. Waited for half n hour and didnt get it. Very bad service. Utterly disappointed ..!!!!!

If filth is authentic then this is the place for you. Check out the windows. Then look at the counters. Then look at the tables. I cant believe that this place passes a county health inspection. I couldnt even order. What a dump.

Biryani Pointe food has deteriorated as quickly as the descent on a a roller coaster. The customer service in both Herndon and Fairfax is simply appalling. If you intend to have a good time and good food, try another place.

I grew up in England and this the cosest thing to real indian food in the states, good and spicy like indian food should be. The biryani rice is like heaven in your mouth so light and fluffy. Love love sat sun lunch buffets
