Half The Pint, Half the Size is defiantly NOT the case when it comes to the Half Pint Pub. I remembered when this little pub used to be the gingerbread house, so I always wanted to break a piece of the wall off when walking by. Now I can enjoy a variety of TOP beers on tap on a routinely basis. I love the small environment of this place because it forces you to socialize with other people who live in your neighborhood. The outside patio provides a nice environment to scoop out the Park Ave. scene while talking to your friends. The star of the show is of course the beers they have on tap. This is one of the only places where you can find an excellent quality of flavored beers, if you like that fruity twist. I always enjoy a pint of their Tangerine Beer, Purple Haze, Rohrbachs Scottish Ale, 1812 Amber Ale, and the FAMOUS Pumking. Google! Tip- Get their signature $5.00 dollar Bloody Mary DEAL, fully loaded, and garnished with a celery stick- YUMMIES! The bartenders are some the nicest you will find in the area, informative, and talkative to the guests. Make sure to ask them what special flavor they have on tap before you order, so you dont miss something you might like! Overall: FULL-Pint!, Beautiful Outside Patio, Informative Bartenders, Amazing Crafted Beer Flavors, and Tangerine Beer...I Will Be Back.

used to live about a 1 minute walk away and Id go here on most days when a Bills/Knicks game was on. But dont think of it as a sports bar b/c its certainly not. An awesome hole-in-the-wall at a great location:) The crowd is usually hip & large [sometimes a bit too much so], drinks were always good to me and i never had, or saw, a problem with customers/workers/whoever in all of my times there.

Love this place ! Small on the inside with limited seating but a must go place in the summer with great out door seating . They offer food from Mozzeronis across the street or you can just walk over and order yourself which lets you access their full menu instead of just what half pint had to offer. Beers rotate frequently as well!

One of the best places to have a drink in Rochester. While the tap may not be as diverse as other breweries this pub provides one of the coziest places to watch the days go by. In the summer youll want to sit and drink outside and watch all the dogs go by. If you are allergic to dogs you probably shouldnt come here with it.

Popular place to grab a beer when the weather is nice and can enjoy the sidewalk and Park Ave location. Nice atmosphere inside off peak hours otherwise can be crowded since its a miniature building. Overall a fun pub to have a beer.

Great little place to visit, thats the only issue, but thats part of the charm. You dont go there for the food, there isnt any. Wonderful time to meet a few friends, sit inside or outside and enjoy what Park Ave has to offer.

Great pub!! We were walking past and stopped for a drink. We had our dog with us and the tender brought out a bowl of water just for the pup!! Great staff and amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend

Friendly staff, nice interior. Not much room, so it isnt the greatest weekend meetup spot, though they do have outdoor seating when weather permits. Great place for happy hour during the week.
