I went this afternoon with my mother I got the ultimate skillet which I get everytime I go there however this time it was half the size it was before but the same price the eggs were undercooked in the pancakes were damn near burnt but the staff bent over backwards to fix it the waitress was incredibly polite and kind. My mother got the turkey dinner she did not like it she said it tasted canned ie potatoes tasted like they were powdered etc etc

Very popular place, especially on weekends. Its not uncommon to wait a bit to be seated. For breakfast, its worth the wait. What specifically stands out here are the pancakes. By far, the best around. Go for the pancakes, you wont be disappointed! Another major plus for this place is their pies. They are amazing and if you go on Wednesdays some of them are free! Yummy.

Extremely friendly and great relaxed atmosphere. Food was good, not amazing but nothing to complain about in particular. Their pies are great and decently affordable - Id buy them every once in a while. Great breakfast options and I love the ability to create a combo that fits what I want, even if you want to go healthy. I would definitely recommend to friends

I have ate her 4 times now. The food taste great. The best so far was the Strawberry Ruabarb pie and the chocolate chip pancakes. I like the breakfast skillets as well. Service wasnt the best, but they just did open. I heard they are in the process of hiring and giving people a fair chance and letting the ones go that are not cut out for the job.

The best breakfast in all Virginia! Delicious, mouth watering, served hot, smells wonderful. Promote server Bryce to general manager right now. No one comes close on her customer service. She was respectful, professional, and welcoming. The hostess kid was cool too. Promote him and get them both raises immediately. They deserve it.

Great place to go if your looking to waste money. My friend ordered buttered toast and got bread with melted butter on it. Somehow got fried eggs that were swimming in water. Last time I checked its impossible to fry eggs in water. Portion sizes are not impressive. I should have skipped breakfast and saved myself the trouble.

Went here today with my family, who have never dined at a Village Inn before, the atmosphere was great, the food and food choices was awesome and we mostly enjoyed our waitress, Synthia, she was excellent and very friendly. We will be dining here again. Thanks for a wonderful experience Synthia!

I was told the people who owned Bakers Square in Minnesota also owned Village Inn. The food was not at all close to Bakers Square. ICK. The banana cream pie that I was crossing my fingers tasted the same was not even in the same realm of deliciousness. VERY disappointed across the board.

Service was friendly and efficient. The premises were clean and the pie was free and sinfully good. The ambience was loud, but it is a diner. My companions enjoyed their entrees, but my reuben was dry and my tomato basil bisque lacked that hint of sweetness it should have possessed .

Quality breakfast menu options! Lunch and dinner menu is delicious as well !! Its a big restaurant but it feels cozy. The decor is super welcoming too!! The wait staff is excellent and have never had an issue with food the many times I have dined in. 10/10 would take some pie to go.

I like Village Inn, we go very often, it seems always crowded, but quiet. The wait staff are friendly and willing to get you what you want. Their prices are a little higher then a normal breakfast place. So we are going to cut back on going so often even though it close to home.

The first two times were excellent. I came on Sunday just after 9 PM. All was quiet except for 1 customer getting ready to leave. It was as if the clock had stopped after I sat down. I had to say" why with all these people sitting here am I not being served!" Then everyone woke up!

Staff seemed disorganized, but they were very polite and tried to be attentive. Enjoyed the knife and fork turkey meal. Turkey was tender and not dry. Hard to find turkey that isnt dry, so they did a great job making it. A little loud inside, but I was there during the lunch hour.

This place is great! I love love love their french toast. When I ask for extra crispy bacon I actually get extra crispy bacon. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my familys favorite place to go for breakfast. They also have lots of super yummy pies. Yum!

Village Inn has been a great gathering place! We enjoy going after Wed. Night choir for a late dinner and free peice of pie! Breakfasts are amazing! Staff always kind and proficient! I highly recommend this great restaurant!

Coffee cold. Batter on fish not fully cooked . Waitress only checked with us one time. Had to find someone to bring hot coffee. Had to get manager to bring me a take home box. Will finish cooking fish in my toaster oven.

Friendly staff, loved the pizza. Be ready wait for it to cook. Took 45 mins to get it. Was worth the wait. The wait is the reason for only 4 stars. We will go back.
