This place is everything a Waffle House should be. Its very busy and fast moving. The kitchen is open to the rest of the restaurant so you can watch the staff cook orders at lightning speed while the coffee is still soaking into your brain. The food is simple and hearty, just like youd expect from a diner, and always comes quickly with a smile and an offer of more coffee. If youre looking for light breakfast fair or you like to make a lot of substitutions, this is not the place for you. If you want a hearty, heavy breakfast served quickly with endless coffee, Waffle House is a great choice.

My son and I came in and waited for a table. The front high bar came open so we sat upon direction from Hostess. No one said a word....the low bar came open and I let the Hostess know we wanted to move. No one said anything again. We were there, sat twice total of 20 mins and out of 9 waitresses, 4 cooks and 1 Hostess, no one offered utensils, menu, drink or to take our order. As I said to my son, lets go, a waitress that was standing right in front of me for several moments staring out the window suddenly said, "oh you aint been helped yet?" I love WH. But not this one, never again.

This is my stop off point every Tuesday a.m. after leaving the VA Hospital. Ms. Kimberly, Ms. Rhoda are too funny. Ms. Darnyelle is the cutest person both personality wise and outside you could ever lay eyes on and Sam is always about her business. The coolest thing is how they all work the short looporder cooks to death and they get it all right and fast. Thank you .

Ordered the T-bone steak and eggs medium in the steak came out bloody red drained all over my plate. There was hardly anybody in the facility but the cook that cook my food was such in a hurry to go sit down and take a break I do not recommend eating at this facility I paid my food did not even ask for my money back unacceptable service will not eat there again

Clean, Speedy friendly service, I got steak and scrambled eggswith cheese, raison toast with Apple butter, hashbrowns smothered chunked and topped, my husband got bacon double quarter cheese plate fully dressed grilled onions extra pickle, and he got same hash browns as me So DELICIOUS, cooked just right.:)

This is the best waffle house in the Hampton Roads area Ive been to so far. The food is good and the service is generally okay. Shanice was a great waitress and made sure my order was on point. some of the other waitresses have an attitude they need to get checked though, so be careful.

This place is awful. I have been to many waffle houses before, but this place is just disgusting. The food is nearly inedible, the tables are sticky, the whole place feels greasy. Worst of all, the staff is not only unfriendly, but just plain rude. You couldnt pay me to eat here.

The food is cheap and decent but it is definitely the "fast food" of breakfast places. The workers were very unprofessional and there was a long wait for a booth. We sat at the bar and got seated right away. The service was fairly quick and we got our food pretty fast.

Very disgusting, flies everywhere, everything was sticky. Service was slow 20+ minutes to get food, another 15+ just sitting waiting to get checks to leave... The only reason 2 stars instead of 1 was because the food itself was pretty good and cheap.

Cops, drunk chicks, cockroaches and loud blaring rap music. Whats 5 oclock Saturday morning to some people is still 5 oclock Friday night to others. Other than all that, ate breakfast and left. Simone was a nice and pleasant waitress.

If you go at the right times it will be less crowded. The reason its so crowded is because they serve the best breakfast all day long. I love going to this restaurant with a few people and enjoying the awesome service and food!

I love Waffle House. I particularly enjoy their pork chops and pecan waffles. The waiters and waitersses are friendly, courteous, and efficient. If you have a problem, they will take care of it right away, with politeness.

Order got mixed up then manager made excuses instead of accomadating. We waited 45 minutes for the food that we got which wadnt. What we ordered. Hasbrowns too brown eggs wete too done. Wont go to this one next trip.
