Firefly is a no brainer if you like good beer, food, or games. You can get lots of great beers, rotating quickly, and the menu is fun stylized pub fare with a nod to good beer. But theres lots of great beer in Cville, and the food here is superb. The reason I come to Firefly is the games. You get a similar effect at Kardinal Hall, but I think the distinction is one of class. If you want a more grand, upscale, formal experience with good food, beer, and games (ball games on TV, German flair), Kardinal Hall is a safe bet. If you want to kick back in a great bar, have some simple food, and play pool, pinball, or ping pong, you should go nowhere else than Firefly. Also, the people who work the place are super-cute and attentive. The story of the founder of Firefly is inspirational. Ill be back many times.

Food was great, which I did not see coming. I had a phenomenal vegan stir fry with extraordinarily good mushrooms baby bok choy and a great ginger-type ands gluten free soy and sesame. So good. What I took home will make a great two people omelet tomorrow. The for stars were partly for that but mostly for our server: Dharma.the group started around 5pm with four adults, a child and a baby. Then a woman joined right after the couple with baby and woman with child left. Then almost 45 minutes later came the more women. Dharma had a terrific way about him .. calm and kind and with a fabulous smile to boot. He took care of each of us personally and did separate checks .. and even made us a fresh put of decaf. He is very special .. you are lucky to have him.

Cool, relaxed atmosphere with an industrial feel. A large space, and the bar is nicely separated from the more family-friendly dining room, where there are vintage pin ball and arcade games, and a pool table. The food is good, we got some local beers on tap, and the chick pea appetizer is recommended! Its like popcorn, only better. The best thing is that this restaurant seems to have honest intentions to source locally and organically produced ingredients. Great place to get a meal outside of the crowded downtown mall area.

This place seems really cool, but the bar service is terrible. The last time I visited, I was served a 3/4ths full beer that was flat. I wouldnt have minded so much, except the beer cost $6.. Today I ordered a Baileys and coffee, which is simply a shot of Baileys Irish cream mixed with coffee. The bartender didnt know what Baileys was, and charged me $10 for the old coffee with Baileys. Thats $7 for a shot of Baileys, and $3 for a cup of coffee. Long story short, thats the last chance I give this place.

A favorite hang-out spot. Really good food with lots of it locally sourced. Great drinks with a good selection. Easy-going atmosphere with plenty of space and comfortable outdoor seating as well. It may not look like theres much parking but you need to pull in and then drive around the back to the larger lot.

Outstanding service, food and fun things to do. My kids, parents and I enjoyed the 80s era coin-ops (video games) while the food was just over the top. Its a very relaxed atmosphere and that makes it nice for the kids. FIREFLY is highly recommended if driving through Charlottesville.

Firefly is a great local hangout with a lot of character. With all the games they have it is a great place to go with kids (bring all your spare quarters). There are always great vegetarian options and a great beer selection. I would highly recommend checking it out.

The best thing for be was the fireplace. It was a cold December night and it was so cozy. They also have a happy hour and games like pool, ski-do and pinball. The draft list is really good and the food is too! I especially liked the quinoa bowl and Korean wings.

I have no idea what the food is like because after waiting over an hour and not even getting the appetizer we ordered, we left. Place was not busy so I have no idea what the issue was. Wait staff never provided an update on our food. Would not go back.

Firefly has delicious food in a very open , low key atmosphere. Everyone is super chill and helpful. Also there is plenty of room and games ! Ping pong, skew ball, pool and numerous card/ board games . Double heck yes from me on this place.

They dont really offer an option for folks who might not like expensive craft beers. We got some apps, which while super good, were very pricey. One bonus was the pinball game High Speed, a favorite of mine from years back.

This place has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Definately family-friendly without being a "families-only" zone. Lots of great OG games like skee ball, fusball, ping pong and board games. The food is local and delicious.

Good beer selection, not too loud but not dead either. I havent eaten there, but Ive heard the food is good too. Lots of outdoor seating, lots of games available and probably the best condition pool table in town.

Tater Tachos were delicious and the burgers are cooked perfectly to order. The bar service is a bit slow but very friendly! Hard to get a turn on the pool table but it was a Friday night so cant complain too much!

Great vibe in. Woolen Mills/ Belmont area - friendly staff, good eats (they cater to most foodie and allergy types- but definitely more bar food style) pool tables, pinball and a great local draft/ cider list!!

Kitschy bar and restaurant with unique alcohol and food selections. Lots of arcade games. A neat place to hang with groups. Menu is a little on the expensive side for the amount you receive. Seating is limited.

If you love pinball, Galaga, ski ball, ping pong, PacMan or foosball you have to go here while in Charlottesville. The drinks are strong. The games are terrific. Bring cash for the arcade games!

Ping pong and pinball and the occasional "mystery draft". Great place to get a beer and dinner and play some games. Lots of parking behind the building and it never seems crowded.
