50/50- B Minus Food- C Minus for Staff Our dinner started with the hostess greeting us, asking how many were in our party, we walk into the empty dining room and she moved into a some mumbling, long, barely coherent question about menu size. Wanting our feedback to see if the menu should be larger? Our whole table tried to explain that big menus typically indicate food delivery services instead of fresh food and that no we wouldnt be in favor of that. The hostess then acted like, she didnt understand what we just said but replied "Yeah. Okay." and walked away without an end. What a weird way to start a meal? Our server came over who seemed nice enough was totally underdressed for a $10 Apps, $8 glass wine and $20 per head dinner entree experience that was on the menu. The atmosphere is beautiful and classy and leads you to believe this is a place where you can grab a nicer upscale burger or have al birthday/anniversary dinner locally without driving into the city nearby. The server just looked underdressed, all the clothes were washed out, the black shirt and black pants didnt match with the pants looking really washed out and a little small and it just looked out of place. The server starts with "Hi There... so we have a special (which she read)... uh do you want drinks or sumpthin?" Again, the lack of clean, clear language and any representation of class was kind of lost. It just felt out of place, her language and mannerisms said iHop not beautiful restaurant overlooking the golf course. Wine list good and good values on there by the bottle. The cheese plate was good and came with fresh fruit. Feedback here; the plate size was odd and too large of a rectangle for the square table. We ordered and the server was definitely nice and knew a lot about the menu. Food came out and the plating seemed sloppy, mashed potatoes sitting on the edge of the plate. Squash mix vegetables didnt seem to be cooked to order and looked a little grayed out. Tuna came out cold, not that its supposed to be a piping hot dish but cold. (they were pros about this and quietly removed it from our bill) My cod and the sauce with the cod was AH-Maze-Zing! The burger was good, the issue there was that it had a lot of bun for the burger size. My friend indicated that she wouldnt go out of her way to come back and get that burger. The server, didnt come back after dropping food. Didnt check on us. Didnt offer more water until we were at the dessert portion of dinner. I was literally collecting plates and handing them to her because she wasnt reaching for any and I wanted to clear the table prior to dessert. That chocolate cake/brownie ice cream thing is awesome. If you go and are having a questionable experience, order one more glass of that malbec and have the chocolate cake/brownie ice cream thing... That will raise what otherwise would have been a C experience to a B Minus. Ill try it one more time.

good food; good service; lovely pastoral view of the beautifully maintained golf course; really noisy and jarring environment at outdoor seating area. an air compressor intermittently blasted for several seconds at a time. and, gasoline powered golf carts regularly drove up, parked, and left from an area right next to the outdoor tables. management should find a way to shield the outdoor dining space from the various extraneous sounds.

We had a graduation family dinner celebration with 20 people here Sunday evening, and everyone gave it rave reviews: the location, the service, the food. We had appetizers and champagne out on the beautiful patio. Could not have been a better experience. Thanks to Skip and co. for being so great!

The food is always great and friendly service. The servers are usually underdressed for the dining experience though. The family always come here for birthdays and anniversaries. I would give them a B+ on the overall dining experience.

Not your regular 19th hole. Staff is incredibly friendly. The food is very well prepared, and very good. Burgers, steaks, sandwiches, are top items. We go there regularly.
