I visited this place on a date and loved it! It was my first time trying Korean wings and they were delicious. The waiter was AWESOME - very personable and even let us try their new soo-wing sauce. The sauce has a nice fruity flavor. I was initially surprised by the look and feel of the exterior of the restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised by the decor once we walked in. Soo Cafe is located in a strip mall that really seems to downplay all that the restaurant has to offer. We dined here on a Friday night and there were several other diners, but it was not jam packed or noisy by any means. The food tasted fresh and delicious! I ordered kimchi, original flavored wings, and white steamed rice. My dining partner ordered the same thing and we both enjoyed the food. I have already recommended Soo Cafe to coworkers and friends. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I definitely plan to dine here again soon!

I only have experience with the Original, Soga, and "Soopreme" on tenders, but all three are excellent. Spiciness can vary from visit to visit, but it has never been so much as to make the chicken unenjoyable. The tenders are fried to perfection, in my opinion. And while the bulgogi doesnt quite match what my friends mom makes, its by far the best Ive had at a restaurant, both normal and spicy. The tempura vegetables, especially mushrooms, are also great. The waitstaff isnt the most engaged with customers, but theyre extremely attentive with refills and making sure everything is good. Food typically comes out very quickly, and while you wait you can enjoy the Kpop music videos playing on their TV.

Were pretty experienced Korean food eaters, having lived in places that had Korea-towns. This place stands up to all of them, and it is better than some weve been to! Featuring 4 sauces on their deliciously fried chicken (prepared when you order - no cold chicken here) including: Original (Sweet), Hot & Spicy, Soy Garlic (Soga), and Old Fashioned (a mix between original and hot & spicy). We also had the veggie bibimbab - delicious. Well be back, and well bring other Korean food-aficianados and lovers here, too! High marks. More points for seeming to be family-run ... its also usually a good sign to have large groups of Koreans eating in the restaurant, too. Yum.

Very Delicious!!!

The fried chicken is absolutely amazing; however, people not fans of spice beware! I couldnt believe how flavorful and crispy the chicken was! I will say cuisine wise the place deserves a 5/5. The atmosphere however, needs some work. Its very clean and cozy, but there seems to be a T.V. that plays k-pop music videos which would be awesome if it didnt skip every other 30 seconds. There is no music in the place except the T.V. so perhaps better wifi for the Internet streaming of videos would provide a much needed flare to the place.

The wait staff is severely understaffed and the bibimbap comes in a skillet--It should come in a stone bowl. I can appreciate the adaptation, but lets not mess with an icon. Had our waiter remembered our fried chicken order, Im sure it would have been great. And the only alcohol options are Dos Equis and Heineken...? Come on... They need to work in their presentation.

The food tasted as good as it looked and smelled! My brother had the fried chicken (which he said was fantastic) and I had a vegetarian dish. Awesome authentic Korean food. The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. I am staying for the weekend and will definitely eat here again before I leave!

This place is pretty much amazing. Its horrible for you, but its a different take on fried chicken and it was pretty damn good. I can see what all the hype was about. Just be sure you enjoy crispy to the point of almost having a shell, its not a soft fried chicken. But it was def good

Delicious Korean fried chicken! First time going tonight and was impressed by the food. The original sauce is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. They have a huge tv that plays K-Pop, however, they have the volume up a bit loud so its kind of hard to hear the people youre talking to.

Do yourself a favor and skip the watery (?!) Bulgogi. The fried chicken is delicious if not a bit overpriced. The picked radish was delicious, but also $1 for about 1.5 ounces. Also made the mistake of ordering $2 kimchi that was of the same serving size. Overall tasty and overpriced.

Absolutely amazing wings. We tried all 4 flavors and loved them all. I normally dont like any breading on wings, but this coating was thin and VERY crispy. Wait staff was polite and attentive. Restaurant was clean and relaxing. Nothing too fancy but not ghetto either.

Kept seeing "Korean Fried Chicken" on the side of Capital Blvd.. I love fried chicken, born and raised in the south. I finally stopped in, it is definitely worth trying. The staff was great, food was awesome, sweet tea was not bad either. Will return!!!!!

Not sure how they do it but I believe that it involves some kind of magic! Chicken is crispy, Kim chi is some of the best I have had, and the sauces are delicious. Service isnt five star but the food more than makes up for it.

One of the best lunch experiences Ive had in some time. The BBQ was spicy, tangy, and delicious and the service was very good (seated quickly and in-and-out fast). Prices were reasonable as well. Will be going back there often.

Interesting food in a nice atmosphere. You might want to orient your seat to get the appropriate amount of the television doing pop Korean music videos. Theyare Peru distracting. Food covers a range of spices and is plentiful.

Best korean fried chicken Ive had. Give them time to fry it fresh and get it with the SOGA sauce. Its amazing.. Their spicy bulgogi is also really good!

Korean fried chicken was excellent. Crispy crust and moist and tender meat. Soopreme sauce had a good balance, sweet, salty, tangy and mildly spicy.

The best chicken in NC. Absolutely delicious. Fast friendly and cooked fresh. Even after sauce was applied to the chicken, it stayed crispy.

One of the best restaurants Ive ever been to. Not the cheapest place, but the quality of food, atmosphere, and service make it all worth it.

Absolutely delicious Korean fried chicken. I wish the chicken came with a vegetable or side, but you can order that separately.

The staffs are good but the foods have lot of room for improvement in term of taste. The fried chicken wings taste delicious.
