Wow, over the top service as always but really has a "BIG WOW" yesterday. I had asked for a certain type of steak meal I normally order but had another waiter yesterday and he brought me the lunch version, and I normally have the dinner version. I called the waiter over to ask him about the size difference, and he said this was the lunch version (the manager came over and listened also). He asked if he should take it back and bring me the dinner version. I said no that I would just eat that (I didnt want them wasting food). A few minutes after I started eating the manager came to my table with a small plate with another order or rice and another steak wrap. I was shocked. Ive always gotten great friendly service at all the locations, but I never expected this. I thanked him very much, as this was just a "WOW" moment for me. Just Fabulous! I work at a car dealership as a Customer Relations Manager, and, in all my Wednesday early morning meetings I ask constantly if they have "WOWd" their customers recently. That is something I preach and ask every week. Its so refreshing to be on the receiving end of some fantastic unexpected surprising service. Thanks so much and you know you always have a loyal customer for life. I hope Maria reads this and know how great her managers are.

I really like this place. I frequent this spot a few times a month. Its usually quick and on the way home. They have two good workers in this place he is the older gentleman which I think is Rafael and the nice lady that prepares the table side guacamole other than that the wait staff is awful . Its like someone hired all there best friends and none of them need the money and the reason I say that I tip extremely well when Im there and other than the two people above NO ONE ELSE CARES ABOUT GOOD SERVICE!

I followed a previous review that mentioned authentic food & friendly staff and was not disappointed with this choice. Mexican Restaurant offers an array of Beef, Chicken, Taco & Burritos options. Furthermore, the beer, wine & cocktail options were in large portion. For dinner choice, we choose Shrimp Ceviché (appetizer), Pollo Yucátan & Shrimp/Scallop Tacos with a side of Beef Tacos (entrées)-- all on corn tortillas. Our server was polite & provided us with areas to visit within downtown Richmond.

The chips are terrific! The cheese is fantastic. The drinks are not strong. The waiter must have been new so we were understanding of the forgetfulness (dip, drink) The place was clean. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. The patio looked very inviting, however, it was too chilly tonight. We stopped in to take a break from the traffic hence, we found the location awesome!!!

My wife and I were always happy that we lived near one of the Mexicos in the West end. When we moved we were lucky that this one opened up shortly after! Mexicos always has the best Mexican food in the Richmond area and its great theres one for this region now. Always fresh food, and always a nice clean restaurant. The staff is always great and courteous.

Spent 6 years in Texas and a year in Cali...best in taste and value in the area. Food is sometimes heavy with the salt. I enjoy the West End location food and atmosphere better but appreciate the proximity to Ashland. One staff member has been rude consecutively, had her 3 times. Overall worth the trip.

My husband and I visited Mexico for Valentines Day. We had a wonderful experience. Great food, Drinks and friendly staff. Best Mexican food in the area... Taste Authentic. We enjoyed the drinks and table side guac made to order. We will definately be returning soon. :)

No frills. Service was good, thats it. Asked for bean burrito and received a beef. It was smaller than taco bells and it was just beef inside a tortilla. Then they topped it with a heaping pile of lettuce and tomatoes. Chips and salsa were good.

Good standard "Mexican" fare. Chori Pollo was very different from the usual at all the other Mexican restaurants, so you may not get what you are used to. Good deals on lime margaritas but no specials on other flavors for some reason..

This place was awesome! Happy hour deals on point - cheap drinks and food - everyone who works here is super nice. Honestly when Im driving through its going to be tough to not stop and grab a margarita!

OMG just had some of the best Mexican food ever. Never going back to plaza azteca had grilled catus, steak,chicken, peppers, pork and shrimp for 2 ... Out of this world we will be coming back..yummy
