I just tried my first Jakes Way back burger and first thought is that for one person, vege burger with cheese fries and a shake cost me $13.00. Talk about expensive. OMG it is a frozen Boca veggie pattie. I got charged separate for everything since apparently you cannot get a veggie burger in a combo. And veggie burgers are more expensive says the cashier guy. Really??? The veggie pattie unseasoned, the bunch was flat from being smashed down on the grill and the burger was the size of a cheesburger. My strawberry shake was thick which was great, but the ice cream tasted freezer burnt like ice cream that had been in the freezer too long...but my fries were hot, seasoned and pretty good. I could have gone to five guys for what I got or red robin, paid less, got more and it would have been delicious....Sad

Forget about those other Guys and their fries. Unless you want a bag of grease. I prefer less with mine. The hardest thing when I go to Jakes is deciding between the fries and the homemade chips. AWESOME! Their spicy chicken is true to its word -spicy! I never cared for flat grilled burgers but Jakes dont have that ick taste. And I dont have to order a half pound burger! Want it that way? Get a double. Or triple. I like mine single. Leaves more room for the fries. Or chips.

Used to be 5 stars, but after stopping in at jakes, which I tell people about often, I had great service as always, but the burger was bland. Like eating a big wad of paper pulp. Dont know if its a change in technique or if I didnt ask for a non bland burger or something. Fries had no salt but were okay. Not recommending them anymore.

The customer service here has never been bad. They are happy and a friendly bunch always willing to help first timers figure out whats good. The food is old school, so if your looking for flame grilled this might not be the best fit for your taste. I like the flavor, and the home cooked feel to this place.

GOOD FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE They were able to feed my party of 28 with no hassle, only downside is I had to wait 30-45 min. for my condiments to get here which caused the food to get cold. Either than that it was good our employees enjoyed the food.

I had the double cheesy burger with butter bun like a grill cheese. The burger was okay. However, it was bit greesy with a soak paper brown wrap. So, I wonder what type of beef are they using. The French Fries with real potato cut was alot better..

I have been to 5 Guys, Smash, Red Robin, Hooters, Hooters came a close second, But Wayback Burger by far is the best burger and fries I have had in many years. Great flavor. A bit pricy but well worth the drive.

Every time I have come here, they dont follow the pricing on the daily specials. I asked for the chicken tender special with fries. Should be $5.00, but they charge 3.99 plus 3.49. Disappointing...

One of if not the best burger in the area, the Bun is on point, meat is fresh and well cooked and the toppings are always crisp and flavorful. O and the shakes, you need to try a shake.
