I am amazed how poor the food quality was. My 4 year old who eats everything didnt eat her quesadillas. I had the shrimp and my wife and her mother had tostadas. They are from central america so they are legit critics. In the restaurand business there is a rule that cost of food should never exceed 28%. I think this operation has it down to 5.0%. I got abill of 70 bucks for 3 adults and 2 little ones. I wish id stayed home,made tacos and sent 60 bucks to a worthy cause. I dont like to complain unless its really really egregious. This is the case here. I am baffled how this place gets an average of 4 stars. It is amazing to me the lack of taste of my neighbors who frequent these. I had bben to the one in Del Ray after it opened a few years ago. Did not return. Tonight in arlington reminded my why. Try somewhere else for Tex Mex

Ive been to many Mexican restaurants in the area and this one is by far the best! The food is very fresh (not greasy or gross looking like most places) and they serve the best margarita around. Favorite appetizer: guacamole (the chips and salsa they serve with your meal are pretty good too). Favorite dishes: Tacos al Carbon- lime-marinated steak (be sure to get a side of sour cream, its homemade and amazing), Baja Fish Taco, and Tres Enchiladas. Favorite dessert: Mexican Rice Pudding. My only complaint is that it’s a bit pricy but they do have daily specials and $4 margs on Monday.

Food is good, and if you have a party of 4 or fewer, youll probably be fine. Dont bother calling if you need anything more than that - youre likely to get passed around until you reach the manager, who will spend more time trying to explain to you why having dinner with more than 4 people on a Friday night is unreasonable than finding a solution. They wont get any more business from us.

I usually wouldnt take the time to write a bad review, but this experience was so terrible. This place doesnt live up to the decor. We had the worst meals, the worst service, and just plain terrible food. Probably our worst dining experience in the last decade.

On a Friday, we got our food in came out in less than ten minutes. My husband and I were shocked. Well seasoned food and not overwhelming with spice. The tacos are the right amount of meat with other toppings. The staff also is nice and well attentive.

Ive had it with leaving stuff out of my order.. I order for 2-4 and dont really believe i have to open containers and see if everythings there.. Give me a break.. Use to be good.. Little pricey. Over the last year.. Gone from 5 to this.. Sorry.

The margaritas are the best around town. The lime juice tastes so fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa are consistently fabulous. Every. Single. Time. Really. Very kid friendly and always popular and crowded. Casual and noisy and fun vibe.

The specials are usually pretty good and drinks are generous, but the limited regular menu items are hit or miss. Rajas poblano and fish tacos are always a good choice. Parking is atrocious.

Nice place, but doesnt compare to unlce julios or other mex restaurants. Pricey. $15 for 2 small steak tacos. Would not recommend if you and company are hungry.
