Lastima que la calidad de servicio que realisan en silver spring en mi rancho se balla a la basura con la calidad de comida que ofrecen en este local de Rockville desde la entrada el manager JULIO es una persona despota que no sabe razonar con sus clientes despues de haber gastado muchisimo dinero comiendo con mi familia y que la comida demore mas de una hora y al estar fria nos diga que es culpa nuestra por no comerla rapido es totalmente inaseptable .Tratar de llegar a una Buena conversacion con el manager del sitio es mucho peor ya que practicamente se vio la falta de profesionalismo al no pedir nisiquiera unas disculpas por lo sucedido solo exigiendo se page la factura por completo y ni importandole el malestar que causo con los miembros de la familia es practicamente la primera pero tambien la ultima ves que gasto mi tiempo y dinero en lugar con tan poca clase y tan poco profesionalismo la comida muy de poca clase fria y cobran muchisimo como si fuera traida desde mexico al instante eso si dejo muy insatisfecha a todas las personas invitadas .

Fantastic customer service and really great food. My sister and I went to Mi Rancho for lunch last week, bringing along her 4 kids (4, 7, 9, and 13). The chips and salsa were great, and the server was quick with drink refills and chips and salsa refills. The kids had kids meals, which were obviously pricier than McDonalds, but they loved the food. No one had to be told to eat their meal. My nephew loved his cheeseburger so much, I had a bite, and I have to say it was the best burger I have ever tasted at a Mexican restaurant. In fact, it was better than some gourmet burger places. It was perfectly grilled and had the best flavor. But if youre reading this review, you probably want to know about the Mexican food, right? It was delicious. I wont say we tried anything too unusual, but we were very happy with the food. I had spinach quesadillas and my sister had some sort of quesadilla meal also. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. A man who I think was the manager asked us how our food was and made sure we were happy. He then surprised us by bringing the kids little fancy drinks (looked like virgin strawberry daiquiris). That was really unexpected and nice! I snuck over and mentioned to someone that we had a birthday at the table, and after dessert they put a sombrero on him and sang (which I usually hate, but the kids loved it). We all had a great time, and will definitely go back!

My kids and I decided to have lunch at the Rockville location. I ordered the fish tacos and the kids had two items from the kids menu. The service was prompt and food came out relatively fast. Unfortunately, my fish tacos were very disappointing. For $16.95 I expected decent size chunks of fish, instead I got a few tiny flakes. When I complained that there was virtually no fish in my fish taco (it should have been called an iceberg lettuce taco), I was told that the fillets of fish were particularly small this week and they would give me a 20% discount on the tacos. I suggested that given the cost of the meal, perhaps they could do a bit better. I was not complaining about the taste (which, btw was bland) just the lack of fish. I even showed them one of the untouched tacos and pointed out the three or four flakes. The "manager" (I presume) was unmoved. I was pretty disappointed that they did not offer me more fish or give me a bigger discount. My husband frequents the Germantown location and generally has had good meals, but given our experience today, I doubt we will be back.

My wife took me to Mi Rancho for my birthday. While the food was great, we ordered a pitcher of frozen strawberry margaritas. The margarita had NO tequila in it. Although the manager took the $30 pitcher of fruit juice off our bill, while we were checking out the bartender argued with us and told us shed put extra tequila in our pitcher. We told her it was not true. The part that really gets me? We were told "Dont come back!" by one of the wait staff and said bartender. I will NEVER visit this restaurant again, so you dont have to worry. Thanks for screwing up my birthday dinner!!!!!

Working around the corner from Guapos & Uncle Julios decided to give this restaurant a chance. it was the worst decision ever!!!! We order the dinner Plato Grande for (2) let me start by saying we got our order wrong!!! we barely got 4 little shrimp and a like 4 strips of chicken and beef. the chicken was not cooked!! we decided to call the manager to solve this problem and all what he did was fight with us and saying we was wrong in everything... save your money and go somewhere else...

Love this place! We go to the Mi Rancho off Rockville Pike-it is a large space and we usually always get seated immediately. I have to be careful in that I always get full of their unlimited chips and salsa which are delicious. The restaurant features a traditional Tex Mex menu. I recommend the steak fajitas, the chicken enchiladas, and chicken tamales. The pina coladas and margaritas are amazing! Customer service is phenomenal...we have always encountered courteous and patient staff.

The food was extremely fresh and tastey but the server was rushing us out despite the low activity. There was also a automatic gratuity (for a table of 3?). That was a bit fishy and almost served to our waitresses detriment because we had planned on tipping substantially more then was bolded on our receipt. None the less, we were pleased with out overall experience and tipped the server more then was alloted and let her know it may not serve her well to include that in the future.

When you go to the establishment on your husbands birthday, are served a $30 pitcher of margaritas that DOESNT contain tequila, and the wait staff tells you, "Dont come back" on your way out the door (for our having had the nerve to inform the manager that youre not paying for said margaritas): thats a sign of a very badly run establishment with below kindergarten-level manners in service. Dont worry, we WONT be back! (I would give this zero stars if allowed, but alas, I cant).

Good food, especially the chips and salsa, fast, friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the prices tend to be on the high side with few options under $14-19. The portions seem to be on the small side for the price. Would be nice if there was a lunch menu and more individual items available as sides to offer a lower cost option and/or for those who dont care for rice and beans.

Been going to this restaurant for years. Love the fajitas and fresh tortillas. Of course they are stingy on the tortillas and want to charge you for extras but the food is great. There was one manager who I used to see that I didnt love. The older guys who are at the silver spring location are definitely more welcoming and make you feel at home. I think it is a family operation.

Great chips and salsa. Service has always been good. We have been to this location at least a dozen times in 2011 and so far 3 times in 2012. The steak fajitas are the bomb. I like the chicken chimichanga. Kids like watching the tortilla machine. Kids like getting ice cream as part of their meal.
