I wouldnt know what the food is like because the staff was either too rude or non existent for me to even try the place. I came on a Sunday and thought that a rooftop dining experience would be fun. From the moment we (a party of 2) arrived on the rooftop we werent greeted by someone who looked in charge. Instead a guy who looked to be one of the customers (wearing a polo shirt and khaki shorts) carded us and gave us odd stares. Might I add he carded NO ONE else. When the hostess arrived, he whispered something in her ear and suddenly they had no tables. Surprise. A few moments later a group of three and four arrived after us but they of course never came back down the stairs or through the elevator as we tried to find service down below. No one was there either staff or customers when we first entered the Mezzanine or the indoor bar area. We waited a few minutes and no one appeared! Impressive failure and Ive never felt more disrespected as a customer. I would never come here again and intend to warn anyone else off of trying such a terrible experience. Do NOT go here, instead please! Try the Indian place downstairs! It may seem tucked away and a little awkward but was wonderful. AVOID THE Arlington Rooftop at ALL costs. There are other places. Better places. At the least nicer places.

Located conveniently off Wilson and super easy to find. I came here on a Saturday evening to watch my alma mater playing against our biggest rivalry (represented by all my friends that I went to the bar with). Parking was super easy to find on the street on a Saturday (late) afternoon, not sure if its a good/bad thing. The bar is located on the 2nd (maybe the 3rd) floor and the ambiance was so nice. Ceiling was high so you dont feel that you are cramping in the typical sports bar. It feels very upscale as the area was very spacious, sparkling clean floor and everything was just so clean and neat. I did not order anything and just ate off from my friends food because I was that into the game! The few bites of burger and fries didnt taste bad. I remember the orders were delivered only moments after and it looked pretty decent. My friends ordered a lot of drinks (because their team was losing) and we stayed there for a good 5 hours. During that time, the bar was hardly ever full (or even half-full) but it might be a different story during those late night times.

Called the restaurant and asked if they took reservations for the actual rooftop. They said they did and I made a reservation. When I showed up there was no one at any host station in the entire restaurant, and they clearly did NOT take rooftop reservations. After choosing a roof seat we waited a long time to get service. I ordered rare shoulder tender and received about 5 pieces of well done meat and 1 piece that was maybe medium rare. She ordered spinach salad with chicken and the chicken was not in the salad when it came. They eventually got her the chicken. Ordered another beer and waited about 10 or 15 minutes. Asked for the check. After ANOTHER 10 minutes I was told the beer was coming, it had just kicked. Another 5 minutes later I got the beer. Another 15 minutes later I finally got the check. Another 5 years and I might go back.

I recently hosted my husbands surprise birthday party at Arlington Rooftop. I worked with Scott to plan the event, he was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. We had the small section to the right of the bar as you exited the elevator, which I was allowed to decorate for the party. We ordered a few snacks off the catering menu and it was applied towards my rental minimum food/beverage requirement. Once the minimum was hit, my tab was closed and the party hung around much later with their own tabs. Our bartender, Stephen was very attentive and friendly, even with a busy crowd that night. It may have been the best night of the summer, with no humidity and a warm breeze. We had a great time and I highly recommend Arlington Rooftop for a personal event!

We just ate from here. The food was ok but I ordered a orange juice for my daughter (shes two) , and when I tasted it before we left it tasted like ALCOHOL. Im pretty smart enough to know when alcohol is added to a drink, so when we went back to tell them they suggested that maybe the orange juice spoiled????? Like SERIOUSLY????? Either the manager had asked someone to make the juice and they thought it was for either me or my boyfriend or he just thought it would be funny to spike a kids drink. Either or, Im not laughing. They should REALLY consider to pay attention to what they do in this place. Luckily my daughter did not drink enough and I took a sip of it. This is VERY VERY SHAMEFUL.

The finest craft beer selection in all there is Arlington, VA! When my friend took us to Arlington, VA to celebrate our two year anniversary, this place was at the top of our list. The selection of crafts was as impressive as their rotating menu! Never a dull decision here. The ambiance reminded me of an Irish pub, hold the Irish. We were greeted by a "new york uh" wearing a leather beret, thick east coast accent, attitude, and everything that will remind you youre not in Texas anymore. Dark, cozy lighting with barrels as cocktail tables. Plenty of seating and privacy. We had a such a wonderful time.

My husband and I had a great time there, it was still cold outside so they werent really busy but we had our food in no time and it was served perfectly. The drinks between alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages or made great as well! The prices were a little expensive, and you had to park in a parking garage in order to eat there. Finding the location was kind of hard even using a navigation. Once you find the restaurant you have to then find parking and there is no street parking allowed.

I have mixed emotions about this place. The happy hour drink specials were great but the happy hour food specials were non existent, leading me to drink 12 blue moons on an empty stomach. The t.vs in the bathroom are essential especially if you are the type of person who spends most of your nights out on the town hugging a toilet, now you wont have to worry about missing the game. I heard Destinys Child 12 times too many during my visit here. I would definitely go again! Very nice people!

nice environment & nice staff, but everything else is pretty blah. Food portions are terrible (aka do not order apps expecting there to be enough to share) AND there are no happy hour food specials, happy hour ends abruptly at 7pm (so my $4.36 blue moon became $6 without notice from my server). if you are looking to do happy hour in the area, i would suggest looking somewhere, anywhere, else.

This is an excellent place to spend warm summer nights. We went for happy hour and had some beers and nachos. My friends and I got a table and the lady who waited on us was so nice and she cracked a lot of jokes. And I especially liked all the wooden benches and trellises, it feels like youre at a friends rooftop garden party!
