Well... The bad. A bit down the road from the bars and noraebang of K-town Annandale. Dingy interior. Gruff service usually from the owner himself. Not cheap. Not hip. Not romantic. The good. Some of the best samgyupsal, yumsotang, and gopchang around. The banchan tastes homemade. If good food with good friends out weigh the negatives listed above, definitely give this place a try.

This was a fluke, we started down Litle River TPike and there was a traffic jam so we did a U turn into Ju Mak Jip. Outstanding food. The menu was limited because it was a fter the lunch rush but everything was perfect. Dont be discouraged if he says "not available", "only one left", etc. We ordered two beef and one fish dish and a fantastic meal!

mom & pop restaurant where the wife cooks & husband serves. Bulgogi was so good! however menu had several items taken off (bi bim bap, etc). they are known for pork belly but min 2 orders. its confusing to order unless you speak korean or are very familiar with korean food

Great food. The bulgogi was top notch, simmered in a portable grill on the table. The pork belly was also excellent. The kimchi was flavorful. Only downside was the dour service. Put a smile on the waiter and bring me a tea refill and you are at five stars.

If youre into really spicy korean food I recommend Ju Mak Jip! The place might be a little dark inside but im not complaining! They have a T.V. that shows Korean shows. l
