I was pretty disappointed with my experience at China Town Eatery. I was craving some dumplings and pork buns but left wanting. They were out of steamed buns so I ordered two baked buns. It was fine but the bread was a little heavier than I enjoy and there was only a small amount of pork inside. The dumplings were most disappointing because the meat was too creamy for me to enjoy. It would have been nicer if the middle had more meat texture. The dough was pretty delicate and delicious. I needed more than just soy sauce but to my knowledge they didnt have anything.

Ive been to many different Chinese restaurants in China, Hong Kong, Philippines, London and all over the US and this place ranks among the best Ive had. They have amazing dim sum. My faves are the siu mai, xiao long bao (Shanghai dumpling), shrimp dumplings and beef noodle soup. They have a lot if different dishes and its very cheap for the amount of food and the quality. They are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. If youre looking for some authentic eats go here. Youll love it!

Horrible service. Took an hour just for 4 orders of dim sum. And then they didnt even only gave us 2 orders instead of 4 and it took them an hour to give me a Coke I ordered and refill water. Also super stingy with straws that dont want to hand them out and are hesitant to give them when you request a straw from there dirty glasses. Waiters dont speak English also and have a hard time understanding. Turned off by the service didnt want to eat after the experience, foods not worth it.

It was horrible. I had general Tao chicken and my wife had sesame chicken. We believe both of our meals came from Costco and microwaved. My wife ordered a coke. With the coke it came in a bottle or a can. No fountain drinks. Im not sure how this place is still in business.

Love the porridge, love the dim sum, love the buns, love the noodles, love the price too. They still need to work on their service, so when you eat here, give it some time. Relax and enjoy your chatting time.

Better than Lai Hong Lounge in Chinatown, San Francisco and that is saying a lot! BBQ pork soup is amazing and only $5.50. Sick of Pho. This soup is so good. And the Shumai dumplings are phenomenal.

Dim sum was subpar. I usually love chicken feet dim sum, but the style over here tasted completely bland. The shrimp dumplings were ok. Skip the dim sum and eat off their main menu.
