Im worried about my neighborhood grill. We have been going to Squatters ever since they opened in 2006. We live across the street so we would ride our bikes there at least twice a month. Over the last year we have noticed a steady decline in service and food quality. I have to wonder if this is a result of the new ownership. I really hope this is a temporary dip and not a long-term trend. We now only visit about once a quarter and after our last visit it may be even longer before we head back. We are a family of 4 and all of us had bad meals. I ordered meatloaf and it was horrible. How do you screw up meatloaf? The meat was cold and dry as was the mashers. It was clearly heat and serve from a hotel pan and none of the cooks thought to re-hydrate? The beer is still reasonably good but the food and "I dont care" service does not match the price point. Dinner out is supposed to be a treat not a let down.

Weve eaten at Squatters many times before and really enjoyed it. This time, however, the service was inexcusably poor. It took our server several visits to the table to bring four glasses of water and then we waited and waited for our food. We could see our order sitting under the heat lamps for about 10 minutes. When another server finally brought it to us, we let him know we needed utensils and napkins. He went to get them but got caught up in a conversation with another server. After several minutes, I went and got them. I also had to go get butter for our toast. No one asked if we wanted coffee refills. We had to flag down the server for a refill and then again for the check. Chalk it up to it being busy? No, weve been there when its been busier and didnt have to work for our meal.

My fiance and I decided on squatters for lunch after arriving in town. I ordered a squatters club sandwich with sweet potato fries. I am not one to complain but the top of my bread was so hard it cut the inside of my mouth every time I tried to take a bite, I ended up picking the hard parts off so I could eat the rest of my sandwich. My sweet potato fries where cold and looked like they had been sitting for awhile. On the other hand, my fiances chicken sandwich was good and his fries where hot. I think I will choose another place to spend my money.

This is the place the locals kept recommending. We walked in and were seated quickly. However, the table we were seated at was very greasy and dirty. There was food on the floor. Grapes and bread pieces which were stepped on. So the floor was sticky. I think this place has greatness in it if the staff will focus on details. We had to get our own silverware and the water glass arrived with a toothpick in it. Just one detail after another. Food was fine. Nothing exceptional. I would not bother stopping in again.

The food was good, the service was good, and the beer was okay but warm. What wasnt so good though was the food poisoning after the fact. I had the pulled pork and I suspect that sometime in its life it was left in the danger zone for way too long. Pay attention people its no fun when you get sick because somebody was ignoring food safety rules. Id like to say Id give you another chance but Im doubtful thats the case after puking my guts out for half the night, the return risk just isnt worth it.

Sadly I have to agree with the review stating a steady decline food and service. Today I asked my server for warm water. She replied with "We only have two types of water. Hot or cold." Maybe Im asking too much but it seems if you mix a bit of cold in with the hot that gives you warm. Hence the 17 percent tip!! The Eggs Benedict was great except for the most important part. I dont mind hollandaise from a can but you at least need to freshen it up a bit with something added.

We took our two small service dogs and we sat outside. They are lap dogs and the waiter looked at the dogs and went inside to the manager who came out with a rules for service animals sheet that stated the dogs had to be on the floor and no feeding them their food or licking their plates.....really???? We have never been treated that way! We take them all over and they can sit on our laps and we are able to feed them. We wont be going back just because of their actions.

Was in Park City with girlfriends. Went to this place two different times, once for Breakfast, & the other for a late Lunch. Very good, service was excellent, provided lots of extra help with menu options. Food arrived in timely fashion, quick to refill drinks, water, etc. All our meals were delicious. Both times, worked with different servers & received the same high grade of service. Would definitely dine there again & recommend highly, families included.

We visited on 07/31/2014 for lunch. We were given 4 water glasses and 3 of the 4 were dirty. We asked the server Rich for new water glasses and were given dirty glasses again. At this point lunch was served and we could not get Rich to return to our table. We even took a picture of the lipstick that was one of the glasses we received the second time. We ended up sharing one water glass. We were very unimpressed with this place, they were not even busy. :(

My wife and I used to come here when we lived in Utah three years ago, so we always like to come back whenever we visit Park City. We went a couple of weeks ago to get our favorite, the Bourbon Burger, but its not nearly as good as it used to be. The last couple of times weve visited, weve been disappointed in the subtle disintegration of the quality of the meat, the flavor, and the bun. But the atmosphere is still fun and the service is pretty good.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Squatters has a full menu selection of appetizers, and main dishes. This was the first restaurant we visited in Park City before moving here. In addition to the menu items, Squatters features local brews from Wasatch Brewery Including Poligamy Porter, Evolution, and other non seasonal and seasonal brews. The restaurant has an excellent wait staff and casual atmosphere, as well as very good food.
