We usually enjoy our visits here. They have a good variety of pizza, and the salad bar definitely seems improved as of late. However, their customer service was lacking on our last visit. We brought our newborn as well as our 3 year old, and ordered a kids meal for the 3 year old. Unbeknownst to us, a drink was NOT included in the price for the kids buffet. A simple prompting from the cashier would have alerted us to this, but when she handed us the cups, with a small clear one for my son, I assumed that was his drink cup, and that a drink was included. After getting our food, drinks, etc and sitting down, one of their attendants approached us and informed us that we had put soda in a water-only cup, and the manager wanted to know why. We of course werent trying to get something for free, and I apologized, saying we had assumed it was included, but they simply replied with No, it isnt. It was a very awkward exchange, where we felt like we were being accused of stealing. I quickly apologized again, and promptly dumped the offending beverage out, and the attendant left. Having worked in food service, I know for a fact that this exchange could have gone much better. For one, the drink we erroneously took only cost them mere pennies, and to then approach us in such an accusatory manner was unnecessary and not cool. I understand the need to make sure you arent being taken advantage of, but this draconian response did not serve so much as to educate as it did to offend and ostracize. Perhaps you could have mentioned it when we first ordered. For example: (After placing our order...) Cashier: "Great! So would you like to add a drink to that kids meal? " Us: "Oh, I thought it was included... No problem!" Cashier: "Thanks!" Or, perhaps you could have informed us without making us feel like petty thieves, like below for instance: Cashier: "So Im not sure if I mentioned it when you ordered, but I see that you have a water cup, yet you used it for soda." Us: "Oh, Im sorry, we assumed the drink was included in the meal." Cashier: "No worries, I should have made sure that you were aware; go ahead and keep it, since it was our mistake." Us: "Are you sure? We can pay for it..." Cashier: "No no, but thanks for offering! I just wanted you to know, not a problem at all." Us: "Oh, OK, thank you!" Im not usually one to tell people how to run their business, but I actually like Pizza Pie Cafe, so Id like you guys to stay in business, hence my review. Other things of note: We had our baby in a carseat, and they never offered a carseat holder for him, even though we saw others using them (granted, they may have been out, but if so, an offer and an explanation would be appreciated) Usually the attendants are pretty good about clearing our plates away. This time, we were pretty much ignored (except for our fun little soda stealing scenario previously mentioned), until we were ready to leave. Thanks for what you do, but please, if you could work on these other things, wed like to come back. Otherwise, well be taking or business elsewhere.

Dont let the strip mall location dissuade you from eating here. Its a superb family place to eat. Salad bar and pasta is excellent and very well stocked. (Youve gotta try the red pepper sauce.) The pizza is good, but not mind blowing. But to be fair, Ive not had any of the meat pizzas, only cheese and veggie. Dessert pizzas vary from good to excellent. Clean bathrooms. Two soda machines with the added flavor options like coconut, lime, vanilla, etc. Its not a ritzy, fancy place, but its fun, clean, family friendly, with good service, great food, lots of choices, and a good price. It can sometimes get busy at dinner. Just wait for a table, its worth it. No I dont work for them. My family and I just love the place.

This is a good pizza buffet with a nice salad bar and good pasta options. The pizza is not even close to the best Ive had, but it is a buffet so its more of the quantity over quality. I do think the pizza is goof though, especially for what you are paying. The dessert pizzas are good too (especially the cookie dough one). Also, if you get drinks just be aware that the small cup is the smallest sized cup Ive ever seen at any restaurant. The biggest thing I want to point out is that this location is always very clean. I have never seen the place dirty which is hard to do with a buffet.

Theyre clearly not equipped to handle large amounts of people at a time, or any for that matter. We waited in line for 20 minutes with only 2 groups in front of us, while 10 more people squeezed behind us. Then they made us wait to get a table because everyone behind us had gotten tables while we waited to pay. The entry way needs a roped line, because there were just people smushed into a group in the foyer, many trying to push their way in front of people who had already been waiting. The service was slow and inefficient.

This place is intense. Its an all you can eat pizza restaurant, that also serves pasta and salad. Im a vegetarian, and they always make me a specialty vegetarian pizza. Their cooks are great. Their dessert pizza is really good, and they have tons of options. The pizza isnt awesome, but it is all-you-can-eat at a pretty reasonable price. They also often have online coupons, so you can get an even better price.

Our kids love this place. It is our backup for when we dont want to cook dinner. We usually go with a coupon. The pizza is okay, but The dessert pizza of the month is sometimes why we go. The salad bar is good. They also have decent pasta. Sometimes they need to get the pizzas out faster. Its a good place for families with young kids. I give it 3.5 stars.

This place is a great, low-priced buffet with pizza, pasta, and salad. The only negative is that sometimes the pizza isnt as fresh as it should be; however, last time we were there, the manager walked around and asked us if there were any certain pizzas wed like them to make fresh, which was awesome service. Also, the dessert pizzas are to die for.

Horrible! We arrived at 11:30 and were told pizzas wouldnt be ready for another 1/2 hour. People were standing by the pizza area just waiting. The salad bar was disgusting! The tomatoes had mold and the lettuce was brown and slimy. We asked for our money back, which I have never done at a restaurant before. Seems to be badly managed.

All tables and booths were dirty. Pizza was cold and hard by the time we sat at the booth. There were a couple people waiting in line for pasta. They stood there unattended for like 5 minutes looking around waiting to see who would help them. No one came. I enjoy eating at pizza pie cafe but this location needs improvement.

Great food at a very competitive price. Sometimes it they take a bit of time to put out fresh pizzas and if you are short on time you are stuck eating the pizzas no one wants at a little bit warmer than cold. Overall if you dont have much time it may not be worth it, but if you have a good hour you will be quite satisfied.
