I am a chef by profession. I love good food. Ive been going to the Orem location for years. Recently moved to pleasant grove and decided to try the Lindon location. Ordered my sandwich and when I received it, it barely had any meat on it. Up at the Orem location they stuff the sandwiches full with at least 4-5 oz of meat on their half sandwiches. So not an issue I went back up to the counter and politely asked if this was the normal amount of meat they put on their sandwiches and showed him. It was about 2 oz worth of meat and the rest was peppers and cheese. Very skimpy. The guy I asked laughed at me and turned to the girl at the grill and said "I dont know ask her." She looked at me and said "yeah I guess it is, but I guess I could make you another sandwich if you really want." I declined and informed them I would not be coming back. The employees are what mainly affected my decision to leave this bad review. If they had treated me with more respect I would have accepted the new sandwich and gone on my way. In this case they did not and I will not be going back to this location. You might want to talk to them about it.

I ate at the Italian Place in Lindon last night. I was sorely disappointed. The quality of their food has gone down considerably! The rolls arent what they used to be. They reminded me of cheep hotdog buns that disintegrate as you touch them. The meat was finely ground- not distinguishable... not what it used to be when I ate there last about 2 years ago. I ordered a monster philiy cheesestake (with the cream cheese) and they added so much pepper seasoning it ruined the whole sandwich! Perhaps it was to hide the awful meat they cooked... And to top it off, their door is broken so as the 2 other people who left walked out, they never shut the door, leaving it wide opened and the frigid air poured in! The swing door is BROKEN and wouldnt swing shut on its own! So I had to get up and close the door 2 times while eating! Go some place else for dinner! I would recommend DP Cheesesteaks in Lehi. We will never go back! It was a disappointing dining experience.

Worst customer service. Brought the whole family to eat here and they messed up our orders we were able to fix it ourselves up until one of our sandwiches (that we had specifically told them no green onions) had green onions. I went and told a girl (tall with dark curly hair with a bump on right of her forhead)and she said well it wasnt written in your order (we specifically said no green onions) she said well it doesnt say in your order #66. Then the little boy (with blonde long hair) that took our order came to us and said I dont remember you saying no green onions.. he also said and "there was a lot going on back there"... ARE YOU KIDDING???? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE then as he walked away (as if it was such a burden) he offered to remake the sandwich.... so we spared him the burden.

Pretty disappointed in the new management. Drive through is broke and super slow. They have cheesecake on the menus and say they dont sell cheesecake when I order one. Food is good but pricey, either go to the orem store or go somewhere else. The staff is pretty un helpful and it seems like its that time of he month

The sandwiches are usually fantastic! But they do hire many younger generation people who seem to not know what theyre doing. If you see someone on the grill that is quick and really knows what theyre doing, you know youll get a good sandwich!

I have been eating at The Italian Place for well over 30 years. The food is consistent, very flavorful, and the bread is great. I love the steak and cheese sandwich but will eat any of their sandwiches. The cheese bread is also quite good.

The Italian Place makes the best cheese steaks in Utah Valley, as far as I know! Service is usually very quick, and the value is great for the amount of food you get. That said, it tastes fantastic too! Steak and Everything is the way to go.

My coworkers and I regularly go here and will more than likely keep coming back. Its usually crowded at lunch, so come early. The prices are a bit high comparatively speaking, but their food is really good.

Tasty sandwiches chock full of meat and cheese. Just the way I like it. A bit higher than your normal fast food fare, but you are getting a higher quality product.

Poor management/training. Young employees handle money then food without plastic gloves or washing hands--happened both times I went there. Wont go there again.

Sad, sad, sad. Gluey bread, dry meat, overcooked cheese, and under seasoned. Garlic bread was laughable. There was a time the original place was pretty good.

Worst cheese steak Ive ever had. Go down to Pauls place (a few miles west by maceys) and get a real sandwich. Too much fat and gross cheese. Not a fan

The ice water tasted bad but the food and atmosphere was pretty good. The other positive thing is that they serve home-made cookies and brownies.

The food is ok...kind of pricey for what it is. My husband got food poisoning from them and was throwing up for ten hours. We wont go back.

I could tell the meat and cheese were good but my bread was so dry and flavorless it distracted from a potentially great sandwich.

The best sub in Utah or Salt Lake County. And as good today as it was when it lived in hut just south of the Y campus.

Sandwiches are to die for. Fresh made while you wait, so dont expect fast food. Totally worth the wait time.
