I used to absolutely rave about this place, but we went there this last week n and 34$ on 3 subs. We went through our order meticulously n they still put onions on my mushroom steak and I specifically told them NO ONIONS, N UNFORTUNATLY they made a mistake and added onions. So I called the manager and s he was SO RUDE Ii couldnt beleive it, she refused to remake my sub even after admitting it was their fault and straight up told me I was s.o l. I am so disappointed n upset at the way she treated me that I wont EVER go there again! Not only that the quality and amount of meat they used has gone so down hill, it used to be the only place you find the best Philly cheesesteak ever! Not anymore Im afraid. ...dont waste your money, try the Gabor brothers in Layton next door to Napa Auto parts if u want an excellent phillycheesesteak n they even serve homemade battered fries ....EXCELLENT! ! Better than potatoe chips n for the price. Forget the rude cheap Philadelphia sub shop. Its pretty sad....

The sandwiches are awesome those reviews below that say that they arent true Philly subs must have angry and extremely technical personalities, the menu has tons of different "Philly" subs, maybe you should order one without the extras or just tell them to hold the extras. They accepted my debit/credit card too, so maybe the other post below is really old. And again on the other two reviews, seriously why does everybody have to make a sandwich exactly how you envision it, what ever happened to good old creativity, individuality, and advancement??? Again the subs are greasy filling and great, I people to go there all the time and never heard anything except compliments towards the food.

Dont expect a lot in the way of cheerful customer service (especially late hours) or mind-blowing deals. This place is just about churning out their sandwiches, and that they do well. Easily one of the best Philly Subs Ive ever had. A unique blend of traditional staples and ingredients you might not always find on a Philly Sub, but the taste is amazing and the bread some of the best Ive had on a sub. They might seem a bit pricey, but its hard to argue with the price when considering the incredible flavor of their product.

Ok...It is not a Pilly Cheesesteak, but it is one awesome sandwich. I mean really, really, awesome for what it is. The management/owners are typical Utah business people, they could care less about the customer. For instance, they do not accept credit or debit cards. They have a ridiculous ATM machine that charges you to pullout cash in order to buy the food. Once again a typical apathetic Utah behavior. Loved the food, the atmosphere was garbage. By the way..they just started opening on Saturdays...let alone Sundays.

Love the philly cheesesteak. Its so good, I just get it without ketchup. Lol I love the people that complain about them being closed earlier than their normal hours. Listen up people they get fresh baked bread every morning and can run out easily by early afternoon. Ive seen the lines, especially when the guys from the base know about it. Line is literally out the door. Go early people! They are worth it. And yeah most of Utah is closed on Sundays, you gotta get over that. Its Utah!

This is as real a cheesesteak experience as youre going to get around this area. Ya, the staff doesnt put much into making you feel like a hero, and the decor is only serviceable, but the sandwiches do the talking. Dont be a hero and order the large. You probably wont be able to eat it all. This place keeps it simple with everything but the flavor. I almost always over eat to a painful state when I go here but its worth it.

Honestly Ive tried just about everything on the menu here and I still revert back to a mushroom cheese steak at least once a month. I do find it a bid odd they put ketchup on their cheese steaks, but a lot of people seem to enjoy it. For cold sandwiches I recommend the egg salad and Italian. Get there early because the line gets long after 11.

Closer to 3.5. Sandwiches are really good and consistent. If they offered fries that would definitely make the rating go up. Food is always good and consistent, fresh, good flavors, prices are a little high but worth it. Reason I marked them down is the staff isnt so friendly. But that doesnt warrant not going. Overall a pretty good spot.

Philadelphia Sub Shop is a great little shop to have a steak sandwich. I do the steak with peppers sandwich with extra hot peppers and enjoy their way of making it. It is not a traditional Philly sub, but I do enjoy the flavor and they are pretty consistent. I recommend starting a stamp card to get a free sub after a few visits.

Been there several times and they have never made my order correctly. Theyve never taken my order correctly, Ive had to correct them every time. Theyve never made my order correctly. Ive given them three chances and three strikes you are out. Never planning on going there again.

Tried for first time today. The sandwich was dripping with to much grease. I love Philly Cheesesteaks and have eaten the original in Philly. I will try this place one more time but after waiting 15 min for my sandwich to cool off a little the bread was half way soggy.

This is the only place Ive found in Utah that makes a legitimate Philly Cheesesteak! Better than Moochies or any other Ive tried—by far. Eating here makes me feel like Im back home in the mid-Atlantic region of the US.

This place serves amazing sandwiches. The only thing that has always thrown me off is that they put ketchup on the Phillies. Order the chicken cheese steak with no ketchup and a side of hot peppers, enjoy.

I miss Penn Station back in Kentucky. This place is just okay. Service is minimal. They really dont care if you are there or not. The steak meat has too much grissel in it. I have certainly had better.

Rude employees, stopped taking orders at 15 minutes to closing. I show up 10 before closing and the place is dark and closed? I have also heard of owner being rude to customers. Will never go back.

Ive been coming to your place ever since you opened and havent had issues but I came in today and my sandwich was wrong. Your manager cussed at me and I did not. Poor customer service. Wont be back.

This is easily one of the best deli sandwich shops in Davis County. The bread is crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. The meats are top quality, and the cheesesteaks are especially good.
