We have enjoyed this great central Texas rest stop going on a 4th decade now. Still the same good food, attentive service and friendly people as always. Lately, we have not seen any stout early teenaged Czech young men on the barstools having a frosty brew though...like was seen on occasion back in the 80s. Oh well.....some things change. Now those 14 year olds are buried in their iPhone instead of having a bier with Dad.... Na zdaví

My wife grew up on recipes like these at home and we both were so satisfied and happy with our meal. Its "stick to your bones" old world cooking and it was magnificent. Stick to the Czech food even though the American fare was just as good. Its not everyday you come across food like this in the middle of Texas.

The food was good. I will eat here again. There could have been more variety on the salad bar. They could have had more types of steak sauce. They could use more space. I dont think I was there at their busiest time and it felt a little crowded. I especially liked the Czech style coleslaw and cucumbers.

Myself and wife are traveling in my motor home and we are retired. This is a Great place to eat !!! Steak, hamburger, sandwich, fries. Good home coocked meal at a great price! Even a dam yankee would love this place ! I know because Im am one myself :) Great food !!!! A++++ rating

This place is the greatest, place to eat, the food is delicious & tasty, this is my 1st time eating Czech food & it was so good, I ate every bite & service was fabulous, fast, food was fresh. Ill be back, Ill recommend this place to everyone.

Ive been driving by west for years now and Ive been meaning to try this place. I stopped in and had the cabbage rolls and sausage. Probably the best of either of those Ive ever had. This place is definitely a new favorite.

I love their food and it has that small town, local restaurant atmosphere. Its a good place to take people to try Czech food. Its not someplace to impress anyone, but you walk out satisfied and the prices are right.

The food was great! I enjoyed their sausage with Czech fries and sauerkraut plus, homemade bread; then, topped off with apple strudel ...thought I was in hog heaven. Highly recommend and its all homemade!!! Doug
