Service was very poor! Had to ask for our drinks and had to wait on our food. Waited 10 minutes for our food went up to the counter to ask what was taking so long, they told me that they were waiting on the hot wings. We didnt order hot wings. After the finally looked at my receipt, they told me that we already got our food. Never said they were sorry or anything. Made it out to be our fault instead of theres. There is way to many young people working. With a young person in charge. They stand a round doing a lot of talking instead of making sure everyone is getting there order. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE! I LOVE CHICKEN EXPRESS, BUT NOT THIS ONE! They need to take a lesson at the one in Red Oak. They have a lot of young people working there and they work!

Me, my husband, and our 5 kids visited the restaurant on 7/9/2016 and my husband is in the military, so he asked if they did the military discount like at all of the other chicken express restaurants do ( and almost all other places in Texas) the manager came to the counter and rudely told me that they dont do any type of discount for a family order and furthermore they shouldve never given him a discount at the other locations either . While were eating a lady from the drive thru comes inside and is furious about some kind of mess up....Point being avoid this location, first and last time here

We live very near this location and have gone there many times. We have noticed that service is increasingly poor. We received probably the worst this past Saturday. We pulled up to the drive through and ordered 2 drinks. The line was long, which was to be expected on a Saturday, but we even made it up to the window without anyone even acknowledging we were there with all of the cars behind us getting served before us. I finally had to flag someone down and the response was "yeah, its a mess in there...what did you have". I told him never mind and left. Very disappointing.

I had a very similar experience to Heather Byington. Ordered a 8 piece mix and they said it would be a while. I was fine with waiting but I literally sat in line for 30 minutes while the people after a before me got served. Twice I asked about my order and the young lady said it would be right out and waited another 10 mins and asked again, she said the same thing. The whole time nobody even bothered to tell me what was going on. Most of the people inside were just standing around too.

Im originally from ennis about 20 minutes away and the chicken tastes just about as good in hachie as ennis. I still love the food and I LOVE the sweet tea. Only 3 stars from me though because of the staff. Way too many kids that just wanna talk to each other and when you ask them for something look at you like youre crazy and just asked a completely stupid question. Im all for teenagers getting a job, but dont put the ones with sorry attitudes on the front to deal with customers

Pretty good specials tenders are good, great assortment of sides and very well proportioned. They serve coke have styrofoam cups. Ive yet to try the chicken on the bone but Im waiting on a special and Im sure itll be good. Fried pickles were 1.99 for a regular side which was bigger than an appetizer at a restauran and very good. Certain sides requires a long wait 10min thats the reason for the 4 stars. My family praises the tea, I dont drink tea so...

Well your servers apparently do not know what a combo is. Your sign says a combo comes with 1 regular side & a drink. Your server rang it up. It says combo on my receipt, but then wants to charge me extra when I ask about my drink. I finally get my drink without paying extra, but at home I find I didnt get my side. Ticket says my side is okra. Im keeping this ticket.

We have eaten at Chicken Express ever since it opened in Waxahachie. Like any fast food place, the help and mgmt changes almost weekly. Usually the atmosphere is friendly and the place is clean. We love their 40 tenders meal with 4 family sides and the sweet tea is great! If you order to go, a word of caution, check your order for accuracy before leaving.

I would give chicken express 5 stars if they actually had chicken after 9 oclock. Close at 10 but you have to wait over 20 minutes if you arrive after 9 for them to cook from scratch. Why not just close at 9? You would think the owner would want to offset his labor cost, of having ten teen agers standing around on his clock, with SALES! MAKES NO SENSE!

While their fried chicken is the last thing I would go there for, its okay in its own way. The express tenders, however, are quite good. But, the main attraction is most certainly their sweet tea. I go there just for the tea sometimes, as many people do.

Good chicken tenders, biscuits and fired dill pickles. Family meals offer the best value. They also have really sweet, unsweetened and half-and-half tea in gallons.
