Good breakfast tacos are something Houstonians take for granted. While traveling I will often try a place out expecting the food I know and love, most of the time it ends in utter dissatisfaction. Comal County Tacos lives up to all my breakfast taco wants and needs.

For as long as I can remember, the Comal County Taco shack is positively, without any doubt the best taco stop this side of the state line. You wont find such fresh, satisfying food and lovable employees anywhere else. I heartily rate it FIVE stars!

One of the best places to get breakfast tacos anywhere!! The calabacita taco is out of this world, a little spicy, tender squash and pork. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants anywhere! Super nice staff!!

This place is a fantastic out of the way dive. Everything is fresh and a little bit greasy. But the flavor is outstanding. Affordable for our family of 6. They also have great Horchata!

Wow the food was great! The servers were very nice and helpful if you are overwhelmed by the choices. It doesnt look like much, but it was so good, we went back the next day.

Its a drive out of the way for most people, but trust me it is worth it. Best tacos Ive ever had. Make sure you go right around 11-12 so you get everything fresh!
