First time here and it was just ok. Service was great, but the food was not. Everything had onions in it! Nachos had onions, enchiladas had onions, everything was chock full of onions! Things you would order at other places that wouldnt come with onions had gosh dang onions! I dont care for onions as it is, but this was just excessive to a point where once you picked them all out you werent left with much food! Their menu doesnt say anything about onions in all their dishes but they just throw onions in everything like they have a dang overflow of onions in the back to get rid of. And the food really had no flavor at that. Well if you love onions, you should come here, but I dont think Ill ever go again. The service was great but thats the only perk.

I live out of state now, but every time we are in town we eat here as many days as we can. The food is fantastic and prices are very low. My parents have followed the owner around since the first time they met him at Cinco de Mayo, which burned down many years ago. He is so nice and we always get free queso since they are regulars. They treat you like family and the staff is so nice, but honestly if they treated us like crap Id still get take out from them haha. Their food is just that good. Every time I go to a different Mexican restaurant, the food tastes very bland and is more expensive. So excited to visit over Thanksgiving and get my fix.

We came here based on the high reviews but were skeptical when we drove up because there werent many vehicles in the parking lot, and on a Friday night that tells you something. It seemed clean enough inside, so we decided to give it a shot. Service was fast and friendly (of course they were only at 1/4 capacity). The salsa was tolerable, but not good. The chips tasted as if theyd been cooked in old grease. We ordered a small queso, and it tasted like watered down Velveeta with sour cream... no flavor, no spices just a drippy yellowish "cheese" substance. Needless to say we asked for our check and went elsewhere.

They were busy when we got there which is always a good sign, it didnt take long to be seated. We got chips, salsa and drinks right away. The waiter was quick and attentive, our food came quickly. The food was really good too. Great service, better than I have experienced in a long time. Only complaint is they have a large smoking section which was almost empty, need to make it all non smoking. We will definitely go back again.

The sauce is warm with a little spice and is enough to get full on. Savor the chips with the specials offered, because they are die-licious in trying from what the menu has to provide. I will remember this place only that I do not live in this area. Good recommendation from the neighbors who dine here quite often. I can say you see four-out-of-five stars rating based on quality and not trying most of the menu yet?

My wife and I go here all the time. The service is fast, and the food is excellent. Ive not had a bad dish yet. The fajita beef easily surpasses any of the more expensive restaurants Ive been to around Houston. Inespensive prices, and great quality. This is one of the spots I would cry if it every closed, and miss terribly if I had to move far away.

Every time we go there it seems they have cut a few more corners and the food isnt as good as the previous visit. Lately they are using canned cheese sauce instead of melting real cheese on the nachos. On top of that the ritas arent particularly good unless you order "top shelf". Several other places near here with better food.

Everytime I visit theyre always quick with the service and polite. They actually act like they want our business. I dont know about you but some places act as if theyre doing YOU a favor. The food is hot! And awesome I should add. Hit them up. Its legit. Jus saying

Better than average local mexican establishment. The queso is super cheesy, but lacking any other flavor, just add a few scoops of their hearty salsa and your good. The salsa actually was pretty good, much heartier than I have seen at other places.

My wife and I come here because it is so amazing. The wait staff are so kind and very quick to help you. I am a restaurant General Manager and I can learn a lot from this team. Great food and drinks! Five stars to you Los Tres Ranchitos!!!!

Food was great! Atmosphere was ok. Servers were ever attentive and polite, but with that being said, some of the substitutions we made on our orders came back incorrectly. Not a big deal though. Might have just been a busy night...

Good food the only thing that I really dont like is the store bought tortillas!!! Thats the only reason I dont go as often, if I was the owner I would invest a little on a tortilla making machine or buy better quality tortillas

Found this place on a last minute whim and omg Im in love! Food and service were amazing!!! Its small and simple but authentic food. Definitely going to be a regular here. Theyve set the bar high!!! Must try it out!

Got the Parilliada Celaya. Meat was tough and dry and barely seasoned. Nothing was properly grilled so it was mostly grey. Sausage is basically smokie hotdogs. Drinks are weak. Salsa is good, queso is bad.

This is my Mothers spot. Good food, authentic feel, very friendly staff. We go every year for my daughters Bday, her choice...they put a sombrero on her, sing and whip cream her nose :)

Our family only eats Tex-Mex here, and a trailer a bit further south. Very good, reasonable prices, some of the servers dont understand English well.
