For the Willis Location, Weve been there twice and both times the service wasnt great. This last time we went, we was going specifically to drink beer and watch the Houston Rockets game, which we have done in our group a bunch of times, for big games at Tailgators, and even though we asked many times, they wouldnt put it on the big screen because the Houston Astros were playing. Yes, the Rockets game was on other smaller TVs, but the way we understood it, and have seen before at othet Tailgators, was if its on the big screen that Tailgators will also turn the volume up on the game and turn off the jukebox, for a true sports bar feel. Which didnt happen either, this was the main reason we was asking for the Rockets game to be put on the big screen, now dont get me wrong Im a huge Astros fan but it was the 2nd game of the season for the Astros, not to mention the game was a blowout by the 5th inning. The Houston Rockets had 4 games left in the season and were battling for a playoff spot in a huge game against the Dallas Mavericks on national TV on ESPN. Its always been in every "sports bar", Buffalo Wild Wings, Tailgators or wherever that its about what game is bigger or more important at the time, for that market, being the Houston area in this case, that the Houston Rockets game was way more important, on this night.. and the management just shrugged it off because the Astros game had started first and there was a few folks watching. But roughly 6 or 7 people was asking to change it, not just me or my table, when we left about 10 other people left with us because of the same issue. I waited over 20 minutes for a beer refill and when we came in at 7:30pm we ordered some food and by 9pm it still hadnt come out. We was all so happy a Tailgators was coming to Willis but I think the group has got a long way to go to be like the other great Tailgators from the Woodlands and other areas.

Ill confess, we nearly gave up on Tailgators about 4 years ago. The food (other than the wings which were good) was barely average, the service was questionable at best (242 Location), and I got into an argument with a waitress about a coupon that was valid she was refusing to accept. I was pretty much done. But some friends insisted on meeting us at the then new TG on 1488 a couple of years ago and we begrudgingly agreed. TOTALLY different experience. The food was massively better. As an example, I love a grilled chicken sandwich. The old one there was a tiny, dry, half-breast with no flavor. The new is a huge, juicy, and perfectly seasoned full butterflied breast sandwich hanging off the edge of the bun.- TERRIFIC. Their shrimp po boy is the BEST I have ever had, hands down (and I have eaten about 1000!). They should call it a Prawn Boy because the shrimp are huge fresh hand breaded gulf shrimp. Not the frozen battered cocktail shrimp on most restaurantss Po Boys. The wings are still the best around. I dont know what changed, but TG is now our hands down favorite restaurants. The no smoking before nine is GREAT (or my wife would not go). Bottom line, if you havent tried TG in a while, you need to go back. You will be glad you did. Kudos to whatever shakeup happened there 3-4 years back- that saved TG IMO.

DISHONEST Waitresses: Ive been to this location numerous times. The Woodlands opened up a new exit onto a major intersection so its very convenient for us and all the neighbors to access to this location easily. I started noticing that my bills didnt seem to add up correctly. I had mentioned this to the neighbors and we all agreed it felt like we were being overcharged. I made it a point to double check the next time I would be there. AND, I was right, the waitress used the excuse that she didnt realize she "accidentally" typed in the incorrect amount. I was definitely overcharged! It now makes me realize that theres an ongoing scam at this location. They like to take advantage of your situation and slyly snake in the extra charges.

This review is for their new location on FM 2920 in Spring Tx, near Krogers, there is no location listing for it on Gmaps just yet. We went as a family last night, 5/3/05, a bit late, almost 8pm..it was hopping for a Monday night, but its only been open for a little more than a week. Beautiful decorations, tables and chairs, tasteful, lots of TVs, a few video games for the kids. Outstanding food, reasonable prices, kudos to the kitchen. Waitstaff still needs to be worked out, but that will come along in time. Only negative is they spent a lot on the place, and bought the silverware at a dollar store,,and they ran out of corn chips, no nachos,,that should never happen in a sports club. Buffalo WWings close by is doomed

I used to eat and meet friends most weekends. However, its been awhile. I feel taste, texture and appearances.....very important! The oil needs to be changed as regularly as, it should. I ordered doubled fried wings and not the color I usually get. These were dark almost black, not my usual deep double fried golden brown wings. And tastes a bit charred (old oil) after taste. Please keep the oil changed as required by the board of heath! Thank you!! Also on my hamburger I had ordered as well. The lettuce was brown and wilted, tomatoes grainy. It is okay to have young adults in the kitchen. However, they may need more training by the mature adults when it comes to choosing, cleaning and washing all foods. Very important

First off the Waitress screwed up our order my wife and I both ordered the fish and chips she delivered a plate with two fish planks and a scoop of coleslaw NO FREAKIN CHIPS so I asked where the second plate of our two order meal was she said Oh they put them on the one plate Oh Hell No So to not cause issues we proceeded to eat what we received to find out the fish was not done (mushy inside) so I advised the waitress she took our ONE PLATE back to the kitchen then we reordered two hamburger and frie plates YES TWO PLATES and surprisingly we did get two plates and the fries (chips) this time around Not Impressed with the attention to detail at this location.

It was a friend of minds birthday. She reserved for 20 people a week ahead of time and even called the day of, but when she got there not only were tables not ready, we actually take them ourselves because waiters were not prioritizing it. To makes matters worse, the crawfish was not cooked long enough, and the corn was cookee too long, or honestly left in the same boiling from a previous batch. I wont be coming here again. Honestly the crawfish being poorly cooked was the worst. The fried mushrooms were old, as in the oil was way too experienced, you could taste its oldness.

Terrible service, too bad, could be a good place, I usually spend hundreds in those places. Told five times they are cleaning the table, to be seated at a dirty table. Then she says she is getting something to clean it with. Had to clean it myself. Then she comes giggles says sorry. So I dry it myself then wait, order drinks sit and watch waitresses chat with friends....20 min no drinks, our waitress says I am going to get your drinks, then she disappears....bar tender chatting, not making drinks....unbelievable ...service just sucks now days....
