Food was good but our service was terrible. Oue waitress, Sarah, treated us like we were a giant inconvenience. From the moment we got there she rushed us so bad, the minute we sat down she asked if we were ready to order then came back 2 more times to ask while were actively reading the menu, tried taking our plates while we were literally still putting food in our mouths, I asked to keep a menu because I wanted to order more and she asked to take it away twice until I just gave it to her etc. It was still 30 minutes before their closing time when we left so I just felt like the whole thing was so rude. The atmosphere was dull, you could hear a pin drop in there. Probably wont go back.

The food and sake are very good. I had the 4 sashimi plate (4 different types of raw fish) and the skydiver roll with one of each flavored sake. The fish had a very soft, fresh mouthfeel that was a stark contrast to the skydiver roll which was cooked and tasted as though it had a fried ingredient. As for the sake, the raspberry and Fuji apple were both very good, the Apple was my favorite, and did not have a strong alcohol flavor. The lychee is more of a floral and sweet flavor that I did not personally enjoy. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because it took quite a while for my food to arrive (about 45 min).

Sushi was fresh. Chinese Sweet & Sour Chicken was ok, fried rice was ok. Service on Memorial Day was poor. Drinks & Appetizers arrived, but we were not provided any cutlery or napkins, finally had to ask. My Chinese order arrived in ~ 10 minutes, my wifes Sushi rolls did not come. She told me to start eating, her 1st roll did not arrive until 10-15 minutes later, I was essentially done eating before her food arrived. She was not offered a tea refill, and waitress was rarely stopping by to check on us, despite only ~ 10 other patrons (total) in the restaurant.

Sadly, disappointed on this visit. A table of four was served, essentially, one person at a time. We each had rolls, and instead of bringing them to the table at the same time, they were brought individually, and not in rapid succession. The fish, however, was mostly on point. Only one roll had fault, over seared topping. Service was a 1, food was a 3 netting the 2

The best best Wong tong soup anywhere!! And I have been eating Asian my whole life. Every other place Ive been either I have to add soy sauce to the soup to give it flavor and dont taste like dirty dish water, or the noodles are soggy. But not here! No soy sauce needed and noodles always fresh. Great service and noodl s are never soggy! I love the orange chicken!

Been ordering and visiting this place since moving to the Woodlands. Have to say, this is hands doen, the Best place to eat. Outstanding service, premium customer and tje food is second to none. Ive tried other places but no one elsr even comes close to the overall quality of this amazing gem. Thanks Mikado!!

The food was really good! The service was slow, however. The table next to us had all their entrees brought out at the same time, before ours (even though we were sat way before them) and my husband and I had put food come out at seperate times.

Their sushi hand roll is the best! Ive tried numerous sushi places but Mikado tops all other with their hand rolls. Tasty Japanese food for a great price, especially for a place located in Magnolia.

They overprice your food, the slices are too thin for shasmi and the fish is not fresh. On one of the rolls I got they used barbecue sauce as the sauce on the roll
