Horrible experience. Ive been coming here for years and I will NEVER go back. Ive never been treated so rudely by a restaurant in my life. As many know, rail yard has a pup friendly patio in the back. My bf and I brought our two dogs. When it came time to place our order I requested two plain meat patties with avocado tomatoes and lettuce...the server looked at me and asks "is that for you or your dogs?" Well, I thought he was joking! So I said "oh yes! I was thinking about ordering them a steak too!" He proceeds to tell me flaty they dont serve dogs...I told him it was just a joke and to place my order. He leaves to talk to his manager and comes back saying "...are you sure thats for you?" I tell him yes it is he then proceeds to say "cuz Im going to get fired if we see you feeding your dogs." Now Im embarrassed cuz I feel like Im committing a crime just for ordering WHAT I ALWAYS ORDER. He asks me one more time and I insist its for me. When he goes to place the order I decided to go after him, cancel the order, get the check and leave. I told him ordering shouldnt be so traumatizing. Moral of the story folks: dont order your burger without a bun at rail yard...especially in the presence of dogs. Either they arent as dog friendly as the claim or they dont care for people who dont eat gluten.

I ate here with a friend. We were seated by a woman who took our drink orders and said our server would come soon. Our server took our order for food and drinks. Despite having ordered our drinks for a second time they never came. Another woman came up and took our drink order, but still they never arrived. Eventually we had to waive our waiter down who once again took our order for food and drinks. Finally we got our drinks, but our food order never came. It took one more talk and apology from the server to finally get our food, which was sub par. I dont know why it was so hard to serve us, or why it was so easy to forget about us, but I swear that I wont be returning business.

I would not recommend this place to anyone with a large group. We finished our soccer game and phoned around for some place for most of us to eat. Another restaurant suggested the Railyard Bar & Grill, but when we arrived, we began to arrange tables together with a server, then the manager/owner came out and treated us VERY rude. He was talking nonsense about holidays and a larger group coming in later that night...none of it made any sense. He finally threatened to serve us but with an increased 30 minutes to our check times. We got up and took our business else where. Not sure whos business plan includes turning away people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The good: Decent food (Blu Cheese Burger and Hickory Burger my favs), good mixed drinks. GREAT outdoor courtyard nearly makes up for the mediocre service(why I give it three stars instead of two). The bad: Sat outside for close to 10 minutes before waited on, which is about average over the last three visits. Sat at a half-full bar yesterday for 8 minutes while I watched the girl polish glasses right in front of me. Takeaway: very cool venue, great outside space, worth the visit. But you may have to light a firecracker to get noticed.

Loved this place! They have an amazing infused tequila! I had a margarita and a shot. I was with hungry friends that had amazing looking salads! My friends and I eat mostly Paleo and this place caters very well to that life style! They also have a great outdoors area complete with several corn hole games, ping pong and pool tables. Great time, great service, wonderful experience! We also went around 4pm with a large group (families with older children, ages 9-12) kids had a good time. Good atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

Couldnt sit a twelve top but party was totally understandable. We have all worked in the industry. There was no reason for the waiter to be totally disrespectful and immature. There are some words that I would like to use right now but wont. If you want to bring your family here be careful if its a big group, they probably cant handle it. Ugh, I hate writing reviews like this. If you are going to treat my family like crap I will not return to your business.

This is a great place! We had a big group of us and needed a place to make everyone happy and this was it. It had a family friendly atmosphere yet it still had adult fun. The servers were excellent and very accommodating and attentive to us! The food and drinks were also great and very reasonably priced! We had a fun experience here; definitely recommend it and will be returning soon!

Called in a to go order. Lets just say the food on a scale of one to ten was negative. MissING ordered items ect. The burgers were not as described in the menu. When I called to talk with with manager they hung up on me twice. This place is amateur hour...not to mention I tried to feed the rest of it to my dog and she wasnt having any of it.

Railyard is pretty okay. Its a fairly run-of-the-mill type place with a giant patio and some outdoor games. The drink menu isnt anything special; not many beers. Its one of the only dog friendly places in town, and I prefer it over Zelicks for that; its less pretentious here. Pretty good queso. Its hard to love or hate it here really.

Waiters were pretty nice. They allowed me to make a custom drink. Drinks are super cheap. Wife tells me that they have the best buffalo wings in town. Their burgers should not be taken lightly, because they are surprisingly the 2nd best burgers Ive had in town. (Its really a toss up between the patty washing and railyard)

Visited on a Sunday afternoon: The place offers happy hour everyday from 3-7 with some pretty delicious cocktails...great outdoor patio. Ordered the buffalo wings and they were super awesome, with a dry rub that was just right..! Will definitely visit during evening hours to check out the vibe!

I was visiting from out of town and my brother in law suggested we all go eat here. Awesome place, service was great, food was good, and drinks were wonderful. Really liked the fact that when the train came by you get $1.00 off your drink and at 9pm is reverse happy hour. Cool place.

Always great burgers! I dont come to Railyard too often as the menu is a bit pricey for me, but when I do Im always satisfied with the burgers. Super cool that they offer both an outside and inside area, and you can bring your dog if you please.

Good ambiance and they allow dogs. Some bar games if youre into that. They have a hammock and live music sometimes. Good sandwiches and burgers. It gets a little noisy so dont go here for a quiet dinner. Its a great hangout though!
