Syntax Error
My family has been eating here for decades and the food has been consistently good. Weve used Snogas for family events both to go and dine in. The BBQ at Snogas is great for the price. Super affordable and everything has great flavor. I personally just buy the brisket and occasionally some sausage, but have never been impressed by the ribs. The brisket is great though, always tender and full of flavor. The BBQ sauce they use is a sweet and tangy thin sauce which I absolutely love. They offer a variety of sides, some of which cycle based on the day of week. Certain days of the week new potatoes and dressing are available, and both of them are amazing. Every other day, hashbrowns, corn, green beans, beans, macaroni salad, green bean salad, potato salad, coleslaw, and a few other sides are available. All the food has a traditional home cooked taste to it. Polish and German diners have similar flavors to this place. This is a family owned business, and has been located in the same spot as long as I can remember.. If your looking for a new BBQ spot, thats not over priced, and offers some home cooked food, give Snogas a try.

Ive never been to this place but I was curious about it. I took my mother to have lunch. First impression was that it was empty and aa looked around I realized my mother and I were the only Hispanic females in the restaurant??? We proceeded to check out the menu on the wall ( still wasnt greeted) we felt like outcast as if we didnt belong there.. They looked at us as if we foreigners.. Two older ladies took our order and politely cut my mothers meat in thinner slices, as requested. Yet they still looked at us like we didnt belong there?? I tried to put a face on but inside I just wanted to take my mother out of there and go somewhere where we felt welcomed. I tried to small talk with the other white younger lady but she didnt answer me back. I will NEVER go there again. Seeing another "white man come in and order and they welcomed him and smiled and told him to have a GREAT day! What? What century are we in? I felt like we were sitting in "back of the bus" if you know what I mean!? VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Food wasnt worth the awe full down grading feeling they gave you

I wanted to get some brisket and if u look around town and do the pricing their brisket is 10 dollars if u go to other places the brisket per pound is 15 a pound or higher their brisket was tender n good not like bill millers brisket and their sides were good and reasonable I have been to B and B smokehouse the prices are better Gradys sucks and bill millers cant compare and about people not being social come on u get treated how u treat other people if u take the time to make a conversation with people they will talk to u so about them being rude I dont believe that u gotta realize they are older people and they have been on their feet workin all day

Been going to Snogas since I was small, now I take my daughter. The food is home cooked and fresh all the time. Meatloaf is still my favorite off the daily lunch specials. BBQ meats are available every day. Its about the only place I can take my 92 year old Grandfather where he doesnt complain about the food being burned. Reasonable in price. The ladies behind the counter are super nice people. You wont be disappointed if you are looking to take out your family for a good meal.

I went to this restaurant for an "it works" meeting the food was awesome but the customer service was horrible we had 3 older women that served us they were very rude. They gave us attitude the whole time we were ordering and towards the end of the meeting the main older lady started pointing at her watch saying its time to go we are closing. I found that to be very rude they basically kicked us out whole time just making faces and giving attitude.

To all of the people who think the servers are rude or snobby its because you have a chip on your shoulders. My dad is Mexican and native American and treated him like they treated my mom and I. This place is tacky and I like that. This place isnt kid friendly and I love that. Not everywhere should be kid friendly. The food is good, the desserts are great. I will be coming back.

Good ribs, good brisket, the beans and potatoes were nice, the zesty type of coleslaw, was so tasty. Down home kinda place, never heard of it! Thank GOD I Googled barbecue places on Goliad as I was running around here. The price for this very good, made from scratch food was ridiculous. Ive paid much more for mediocre barbecue and sides, service was awesome.

Good home cooked German food, generous portions, daily specials moderate prices Wheelchair accessible Cafeteria style, just select your meal comes with 3 sides, plus bread. Got the sausage & meat plate with buttery corn, carrots and potato salad Sweet tea Tempted by desserts, but couldnt have eaten them got so full with my plate

Out of all the time Ive lived in this neighborhood Ive never really thought to stop in till now. Me and my bf stopped in and it couldnt have been more perfect. ribs were nice and juicy plus they fell off the bone andy bf had the beef tips he said they were awesome! Staff was warm and friendly! Well definitely be back!

They seemed rude when we went for dinner. They were nice a cheery with everyone else but us. They never checked on us never welcomed us as they did everyone else and did say thanks or goodbye as they did with everyone else. Would never recommend this place unless your the type of person that they prefer I guess.

The food is delicious. This place has been a favorite of our family since the 80s. The facilities are clean as is the restaurant. A cozy Bar B Q place without the large crowds. I recommend the sausage and chicken. Try the Bar B Q sauce, its quite unique

the food was okay and the girls who serve you are friendly. BUT the snobby white ppl who usually eat there are jerks and the old bags playing some game in there other room are also rude!! Also this restaurant needs more selection of food!!

@PENELOPY JANE, GOD HOPE U DONT HAVE ANY KIDS!!! Food was gross with flies. This is NOT a child friendly place. My child was having a tantrum and all the stuck up old white people in the "game" room were making comments

Food was great. Like getting a home cooked meal! Roast beef was great. I was full but could not stop eating it. The wife had fish and our son had the Country Sausage plate. Everything was great.

Home cooked buffet, clean, friendly, old-timey feel. Good very good, something different on the specials everyday. We had the sauerkraut & sausage...it was just like Grandma use to make! Yummy!
