Loud and tinny describes the volume in this get-down-to-business, hard surfaces, noisy restaurant. Get in line and place your order at the counter in the back of the restauraunt and wait for delivery to your table. There are definitely a lot of seafood choices including various crawfish dishes (of course), as well as shrimp, oysters, and crab. They even serve pho to which you can add your favorite seafood and that seemed to have attracted a number of asian clientele enjoying just that dish when we were there. Waiters running around serving large bags plastic bags full of lbs. of spicy boiled crawfish or shrimp which seemed to be de riguer. Tables were spread with white butcher paper which you tear off a huge roll and apply yourself. Makes for an easy clean-up after shelling piles of crustaceans. We started with a disposable aluminum turkey roaster pan filled with ice and a dozen raw oysters. Somewhat fresh these bivalves served in largish shells were the runts of their family as most of the "meat" was no larger than a twenty-five cent piece. This is definitely not among the restaurants signature dishes. The fried items were good such as the shrimp poboy and mudbugs we had although the crawdads seemed to suffer from the same "runt"ism as the oysters. The crawfish empanadas were a miss with to much dough to filling ratio and the cheezy rolls were filled with a movie theatre cheese and bits of jalapeno; crispy in their spring roll wrappers, but rather tasteless. This is an interesting place, but a word to the wise would be to stick to the boiled seafood for the most satisfaction and fried for a lesser yum. Definitely not impressed with the appetizers and raw offerings. After $40 worth of sampling, our overall opinion would be to "go fish". An O.K. place, just not scrumptious enough to draw us back with the twenty minute drive it takes us to get there.

Food was good, although crawfish we had were fairly small. What made me give a poor rating is because when I ordered, we had to order the potatoes, corn, sausage separate... And so I ordered 4 potatoes.. Well when I got my order they gave me 4 corn instead, which I already dumped out on the table taking it out of the bag... So then I tell them they gave me the wrong thing and the girl rudely said "well what did we give you? We never get it wrong" and I just said you gave me corn instead of potatoes... So then she proceeds to bring us the potatoes and comes back to our table AND PICKS THE CORN OUT OF OUR FOOD WITH HER HANDS. Yes, with gloves, but who does that? We were already eating... Most restaurants would have owned up to their mistake and would have let you keep the food for the inconvenience. So Im never coming back because of that. Not only that but you have to set up your own table with the paper to eat on and even clean up after yourself. Wheres the better customer service? Also you have to leave your ID just to get crab cracker utensils... Like wth? You shouldnt be serving crab if you cant provide crackers without leverage. What if for whatever reason I didnt have my ID? Anyways it was abit pricey since everything was sold separate, and it was a bad experience for us. Not going back.

Went in my first time enjoyed it. Decided to take the trip from across town to pick up order. Order was wrong. I called spoke to the manager.. Then someone above her explained my problem. I ordered shrimp with garlic butter not spicy garlic butter. Mind you it was very spicy. I drove 25mins across town very frustrated wanting to get it resolved. His resolution was to return the shrimp. Mind you yet again i drove 25miles here in the first place on my day off and to save time i placed it to go. Waited a extra 15mins then the time quoted didnt mind at all as per previous experience waited got home and spicy shrimp. I work in the hospitality business it could have simply been resolved after 10 mins finally said i can come in another day THIS WEEK. finally to get it resolved i agreed. Ended call. My significant other made a review on google and shortly got a call back from the manager at LA explaining to me he would not honor my discount on next visit on a count of the review. Thats what you do you review since it wasnt fixed and when it is resolved you edit. Redo. Now. No. I will never return there. Thank you but no thank you i hate bad service.

I called in my order 20 minutes before. When I got there they said they would call out my order. I waited 20 more minutes. I was able to see three walk in customers get served and a to go order get picked up. Keep in mind we sat at the table right in front of the register. I got up to check on the food and it was just sitting there. When I asked why they hadnt called out our name and why it was just there, they tried to argue. I never received an apology and as I tried to explain my dissatisfaction I constantly got cut off. As I was speaking to the franchise owner, the whole crew watched and stood cramed behind the counter. I still didnt get an apology. The franchise owner ended up refunding me but still defended her employees and kept up the fight. I left with the bag of food and she yelled at me across the store to bring the food back. What was she going to do reuse it or eat it? Its a shame a new restaurant in a growing city would give such bad customer service.

We endured the long line and the table waiting, loved the idea of BYOB, but good things do come to an end. We visited this place during soft opening... it was great. The crawfish, gumbo, and crawfish rolls were awesome!! During their "new" phase the food stayed consistent, the crawfish pho was delicious but the chicken was okay. I told everyone I knew to try the place. The crawfish had started tasting awful and a lot of seasoning was used to cover old (day old) crawfish and the sausage were undercooked. So being optimistic, thinking that it was probably a bad day for the cook, we ventured out one more time. Unfortunately on our last visit there, the food was pretty much the same, old crawfish and worst of all my husband and I got food poisoning. About 2-3 wks later a news report ran about restaurants that failed inspection, sadly, LA Crawfish was cited. We havent been back since that news report and our stint with food poisoning.

We had been there once before, so didnt know what to expect. I ordered the 2lbs of crawfish and added the corn, while it seemed to take longer than what I expected to my surprise the corn was cold.... I mean refrigerator cold and saw was the crawfish, I told the person that took our order. He then came back with a plastic glove I thought maybe to take the corn back and apologize but he actually touched it and said yes it is cold and walked away with it. He brought me some hot ones but no apology or even anything about the crawfish. I asked for the manager and all he could say is maybe because it was 8:45 or so they probably started to put the food away since it was almost closing time. But 3 more families had walked in after us and their food was steaming hot.. Then proceeds to tell me if I return tomorrow he can give me 1lb free of crawfish... NO THANK YOU!!! NOT GOING BACK ANYMORE!!!! Stick with Willies instead!!
