My girlfriend, My brothers, and myself eat here at least once a month or so. I highly recomend going during lunch time on a week day. Otherwise you might find parking a little difficult. Not that there arent plenty of spaces but that they are all usually full with the post-church crowd on Sunday and dinner crowd on week nights. The food here is really really consistant. Ive read some reviews that the food isnt really fresh but that is somewhat to be expected when you go to a buffet during off-peak hours of the day. If its not fresh enough for you then take advantage of the build your own hibachi style station at the back. I have them whip me up something every visit and its always outstanding. The waitstaff is always attentive and friendly and the resturant is always clean. Ive not had a bad plate of food there yet. You just need to realize what to expect. And that is that if theres not a huge crowd then not every item is going to be turned over and refilled every few minutes. Give it a try for lunch, If you love it, Great!!. If you dont? That just means more food for me. And if the price is too high then you need to quit eating in Rockwall.

We have been going there for as long as we have lived there. I totally agree with Shane. Its a buffet, so make sure you know when to go. However; we have been on very busy days, and the wait staff I think have psychic abilities. I never have an empty glass of tea! And by the way..the tea is amazing. I also love suxhi, and it is great! The foot is always hot and I feel fresh. If you have their seafood salad...what is there not to love I find it quaint, inexpensive, and everything I moved to Rockwall for. Hometown hospitality. I love it. I love Rockwall. I love saying we have places like this that make you feel at home, anytime. There is also this little waitress there who is so sweet. I dont know her name, but I hope she doesnt take offense, because we love her. She sounds exactly like "Miss Swan" and she makes me giggle everytime she comes by. Only because of how great and sweet she is. Yet, Im always half expecting her to say "he lookalikaman!"

I used to love coming here and did so a lot; often 2 or 3 times a week. Now I come once a month or less...and Im not even sure why. This place does not please the palette anymore. The food seems of lesser quality than before, often tastes stale and, even when fresh, just doesnt taste that good. Also, as I write this, Im sitting at a table thats leaning so badly that I fear juices from my plate will spill over into my lap. This place used to be a delight. Thats not the case any longer. I doubt Ill ever come back. Youll likely find me at the Chinese buffet in Greenville. They actually seem to care about their product and their customers.

I have been comming here off and on for almost 10 years, last night was the last time i will come here. The quality and selection has steadily declined over the years. I question how sanitary the whole place is, plates on the line are dirty, there is a urinal full of ice in the bathroom, no container used for ice should ever be on the restroom! The dumplings were cold, not room temperature, cold. The rice was borderline inedible, the teriyaki chicken and sweet and sour chicken were the only two dishes that were tolerable and they were sub par at best.

Ive been comming here for a couple years probably once every couple months bc its just so darn good. The mongolian could have more choices but its a buffet not ghengis grill. Its still very tasty all the same. Im fairly new to sushi but im in love with it & they have most of the top 10 favorites to pick from. So delish!! They have a great supply of chinese & Japanese dishes, seafoods, soups & a large cold bar with salad fixings, fresh fruits & desserts. They also have ice cream for little ones or us too

Quality Downhill and prices up :-( Weve been going here ocassionally for years and used to be favorite casual Chinese but this last visit soured us. Egg rolls & Spring rolls were cold & mushy; many dishes barely warm and tasted stale; Mongolian plate was spicy but w/o flavor; very little sushi and it was dried out and stale. Orange chicken was hot and delicious but it was the exception. Because of history we may try again - but it seems worn out.

This buffet was absolutely awful. The food was cold and it tasted horrid. My children wouldnt even eat the rice. My husband took one bite and was immediately nauseous. We thought maybe it was just the items we picked and went to try some crab legs, the inside was completely black when it was cracked open. We immediately left after being forced to pay for at least one of our meals. The most disgusting place in Rockwall. DO NOT EAT HERE.

There is a good variety of food, its just not always fresh. Sometimes its been sitting there a while and it gets all dry and hard or in case of the wontons in the soup all soggy and falling apart. Last time I went some of the sushi rolls were so old that the avocado on them had turned brown. If you go during peak times 12-2 or 4-7 your chances of getting fresher food is better. Still not great

Soy sauce was tasteless, shrimp very small , there was chunks of something in the cocktail sauce, sushi was 90% rice and tasteless, miso soup cold and tasteless, table sticky. The bathrooms filthy! Their Tilapia cold and bland....OUT OF THE BAG AND ON THE PLATE.....SPICES ADDED.....LET ME SUM IT UP. EVERYTHING WAS BLAND AND TASTELESS.....WORST BUFFETT IVE BEEN TO IN MY LIFETIME!!!!

Yesterday we visited this hot place. Actually we were just hanging out there, we expected not so much. This place was just perfect for us. Most of all, all varieties of food were really amazing!! It can help me blowing out my prejudice for the chinese food. I will visit again in the very near future!! Very kind and friendly there!! Thumbs up!!

Wasnt particularly good. Went for dinner with the wife. Nothing was bad, just sort of mediocre across the board. Egg roll and crab rangoon were cold. They put out some fresh while we were there that were better. Staff was very courteous and attentive, but mediocre food is deal breaker for me.

This is Chinese buffet that we 1st visited back to 2006 and since that time we always stop here when in Rockwall. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Food choice is very good, there are no empty trays - they add food all the time. Tables are clean. We love this place!

Always friendly, "City" is about average on the line, but I recommend the much under-solicited Mongolian Grill in the rear. They can cook-to-order fresh ingredients in real butter, which is way healthier than oil and more delishous than the line items. Give it a try! -MC

The last time I visited this restaurant was about 2 years ago. Just last week, I visited this place with my father, and I noticed that a lot of the menu had changed since the last time. Everything was warm and delicious. I think its the best buffet around that area.
