Food was good. Cozy place with outdoor patio. But experience was tainted completely by the waiting in line part for over 30 min. We went on a Saturday for breakfast. We expected a crowd but not like this. There is one cashier that takes orders and answers phones and you stand in line to get your order in with her. And the line wraps around the tables almost all the way to the entrance. I have never seen this ever before that you come into a place that serves not only coffee but full on restaurant breakfast and you do not get seated but instead get instructed to get in line to put your order in. There was one person carrying orders out to tables and one person making coffee and one person not sure what was his role - he just kept walking around :). So I get it that they probably are small and not able to get everyone served at tables but asking your customers to stand in line to put in their order is a pretty crappy experience. Either stay a small coffee shop and do not serve breakfast or continue to serve breakfast but properly. Even though we liked food and place we will not return until they figure out how to properly operate a restaurant. By the time we received our food we were so hungry and frustrated that quality of food just did not matter anymore. *** Almost forgot - adding the comment about a male employee that kept walking around - I also watched him not really doing much to help out others but just walking around - we stood in that line a loooong time :). And watched how he was shaking something against the trash can from inside, his hands were inside the trash can, for about few minutes while he was either cleaning something or whatnot. He then carried on with his other tasks without washing hands. I gave him benefit of the doubt for this to be a one time thing. But I see others are seeing same so I felt like it was worth mentioning. I really hope owners get this place to the level of great. It has the potential, just pretty poorly managed.

My first review ever... And ooooh its not good. Beware im a livid guest(who also works in the food industry) so for me to leave this review just know that I am highly unsatisfied! This place was as unwelcoming as they come. when I walked in i stood at the host stand expecting someone to come they didnt.. So I assume I should wait because otherwise the people behind the other counter(heavy set gentlemen with facial hair and young girl who are looking directly at me) would surely tell me to come to their side.. No they dont. So I walk up and ask "is this where i should come to place an order?" the girl was like yeah and just looked at me. After I placed my order which was 2 sandwiches one was a chicken salad sandwich with chips and a drink the other was the melt ... The only condiment advertised was raspberry Dijon mustard.. I asked them to leave it off. And also got a drink and chips. So to get the drinks and chips you have to serve yourself. I was unaware so I asked the young lady behind the counter what to do she just looked at me like I was stupid and pointed. Then after I made my own drinks I sat to wait for my food.. Which seemingly wasnt going to come.. So I asked a CUSTOMER for help and they did.. Politely pointed me in the direction to ask about my food. I asked about it the pregnant lady and the little girl acted like they didnt know then brought my food out. I had to leave after all i was there for to-go ... So I check my food for mustard and its fine.. I leave drive home(15 mins away) and theres mayo on my sandwich .. THEY DO NOT EVEN ADVERTISE MAYO ON THE SANDWICH(PLEASE GO AND LOOK AT THE MENU IF I JUST SEEM RIDICULOUS) I WILL NOT EAT CONDIMENTS.. Ive been trying to call them for the last 20 mins so that they can find a way to fix their mess up and have gotten no answer. Thanks I really appreciate you ruining my lunch.

First let me say that I love Snugs, the food, and the people who work there. But I have to say waiting in line for over 30 minutes and then being told that it would take 45 min to an hour to prepare my food was just too much. I understand the popularity of Snugs. I get that. But they need to set expectations. When I came in the door I was greeted by a pleasant young lady. That would have been the opportune time to inform me and all the other customers just how long of a wait we would have. They could even put up a digital timer stating the length of time it would take to get your food. I think they need to rethink their food prep. It just takes too long even when the place is not crowed. The meals are delicious but there is nothing complicated in making their meals. Maybe a better kitchen layout our more help in high volume times might help the slowness of food prep. One other beef. Put up a sign and or have your people greeting people at the door to tell people coming in to not homestead at a table before going through the order line. You wait 30 minutes to get your food and then all the seats are taken up by people coming through the door. I want Snugs to continue to be successful and I hope they figure something out to make high volume times a little less stressful and pleasant for the customer. I will only be going to Snugs early just after they open.

Im not one to normally blast a family owned restaurant but Ive been here twice and have had the same experience both times. The food has been good both times no complaints. However, the lack of employee training and hygiene has a lot to be desired. There is one male employee that has been working and each time he has been eating behind the counter, literally a bowl of food while he prepares coffee drinks. He runs his fingers through his hair and then continues eating and making drinks. I observed him for 45 minutes while I ate lunch and he never washed his hands. The other employees just need some very basic training but were nothing compared to this individual. Ive worked in the industry for 25 years and havent seen such poorly trained employees. There is a line with over 15 people while one person was taking orders and 5 more were in the kitchen drinking their drinks and joking around. You would think they would take their breaks prior prior to the lunch hour or wait until it was over. If I had seen anyone that resembled management I would have notified the manager immediately. The food gets 4 stars and the staff gets 1 star.

My wife and I arrived at 10:15 am on a gorgeous Saturday morning in late March. We knew it would be very busy, and waited in line for about 30 minutes. She ordered the custom omelette and half waffle. I opted for the Bacon and Pimento Melt with Mac & Cheese. The food came out about 30 minutes after we ordered, so all in all we were eating about 1 hour after we arrived. The food was mostly all absolutely delicious. The omelette was a bit overdone, but was Texas-sized ginormous (6 eggs - we asked). The Bacon & Pimento Melt was perfectly executed, with the jalapeno jelly offering a great counter balance to the salty, savory bacon, and pimento spread. The Mac and Cheese was also darn good. The staff was friendly. Lastly, this is a pay before you eat place. I really dislike those I-Pads that seek a 15%, 20%, or custom tip. As I approached the counter I quickly decided Id be paying cash for that reason. I like to leave a tip at the end of my experience, not the beginning. Conclusion: if you are in a hurry, theres a McDonalds down the road. Come for the ambiance and great, unique food. You wont be disappointed.
