I’ve been going to Atomic Coffee for the better part of 3 years now, and have decided to review the coffeehouse because the High Planes Reader didn’t name them the best coffee joint in town. These baristas are pleasant without being used car salesmen nice and they know their coffee. Every macchiato I have ever had well met my expectations and then some. They rotate and sell artwork that hangs on the exposed brick walls that you can look at while your coffee is made and purchase if it catches your eye. They have local papers to read as well as free WIFI that works and isn’t as spotty as Babbs. The fluorescent and LED light bulbs are quite visible and cast inviting glow that reduce energy consumption. Finding a seat shouldn’t be an issue and a back room is perfect for small events such as the “Code and Coffee” women development course that the local community could join in. Their hours are perfect for morning birds and late night crammers alike. I fully expect that Atomic Coffee will secure their rightful place in HPR best coffee house of FM area next year because the combination of atmosphere, good coffee, and amicable staff make Atomic Coffee the best in town.

Excellent coffee and at a great location on Broadway. The baristas definitely know what they are doing and do a good job at making your drink well and in a short amount of time. My only gripe is that a couple of the baristas arent exactly the cheeriest people. I get the whole hipster thing but now and then when I go to order, a couple of the baristas stare at me like they wish I could stop bothering them; dead pan looks and a cold attitude. I dont require a person to leak happiness at every seam, but having the appeal of a robot is slightly off-putting. Awesome and tasty coffee with droid, hipster baristas.

The best coffee and services in town. The baristas know my husband and my order before we reach the counter. They have great options for people with food sensitivities as well. Its a great environment for visiting or work from your laptop. Great music as well.

Get your group there for a meeting in the back room (it can accomodate like 25 folks, is cozy, quiet and free). The staff is outstandingly friendly as well. Great, great joint. Fair Trade, organic, and recycling obsessed. A top pick of the Hunger Summit, 2008.

Good coffee, good atmosphere, great people watching place. Had a meeting there firat thing, took forever took get the coffee, had a large order in front of me that took the single barista a good deal of time to make so was unfortunate. Otherwise nice place.

Organic, fair trade coffee. Free public wi-fi, with no hassle of getting log in information from the staff. Great sandwiches, if a bit spendy, but its a coffee shop so what do you expect? The fruit smoothies are the best in summer!

I loved the art work. However I got a chi tea and a hummus rap. I have worked at coffee shops before. The humus wrap was nasty and the chi tea you can buy at walmart, was way over priced.
