We decided to come here after finding out the original place we wanted to go to was not open. So we called ahead to make a reservation for the hibachi. We were scheduled for 4:30 and got there a little early. All seemed fine considering they took is in 15 minutes early and had us seated. They let us know that the chef was on his way so we had to wait. We ordered appetizers but only one of two ever showed up. The server kept coming back with a different story saying that they were waiting for the chef to arrive. After a little while longer he would come back and say that the chef was with another party. But then proceeded to come back and say he was still waiting for the chef to show up. Not sure what he was doing or where he was going with his stories. We had made our orders and waited OVER an hour for our chef. We had to decide what to do because we no longer had time to wait for the chef to cook the food and eat do to a flight our friend had to be on. Once we made the decision to leave we informed the server who then talked to a few other employees and long behold the chef comes running around the corner with a nasty attitude as if we were the ones that were the issue. Then the chef said "i was told yall were leaving so i got rid of your meal preps" then he turned to another party next to us and started apologizing for the wait. The worse part was as we walked out an employee with a red shirt juat stared at us so rudely without a word. Side note the chef next to us kept dropping everything and food, knife, and whatever else he kept tossing around. Save yourselves the trouble and just go to an actual find somewhere else

My first time being table side with a trained chef, Bonzai chef (idk). The food was amazing, beef tender and perfectly seasoned, I had scallops and the sirloin steak. Include was grilled shrimp, a delicate soup (I was offered seconds almost accepted because of its light yet savory flavor but I didnt want to fill up.) I went with family who has had dinner here before. We were 15 and there was a couple seated with as well. No problem the more the merrier. Accept my nephew told me that usually there are 2 chefs working so you dont eat all your rice and get full before the grilled items are ready. You know, if you struggle with impulse control. So the food was soooo good. It was very entertaining having a chef that was super nice and funny while putting on amazing show. It is all about the show & the food.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. There was a huge section for eat in only where we sat that was very calm and relaxed. The hibachi show area sounded lively and exciting. The staff were super attentive but struck a balance between being helpful and giving us space. We ordered off the hibachi menu and it was so good! I was also very impressed with the large drink menu though we did not try anything this time. I really enjoyed my time here and Im looking forward to coming back again!

One year ago I rated this place with 5 stars because they have great food. They still do. However, I am changing my rating to 1 star due to them seating 20 people in front of me and my 3 friends for a birthday celebration AFTER waiting an hour passed our reserved time. This isnt the first time, less than 2 months ago, I walked out because I had a reservation on my birthday and YET AGAIN, they sat a party of 10 in front of my party of 6, whom didnt even have a reservation! This place just lost a regular....

Words cannot express the high quality, great service, well-priced variety of menu items, and unsurpassed overall atmosphere of this place! Bonzai made my birthday weekend a total blast! We sat at the hibachi grill, but I, myself, got the crab and lobster roll. Im so happy with my choice. The best part is I got bang for my buck! Just under $20, and you can see how big my roll was! Plus it came with 6 pieces of fried lobster in a lobster tail! Please visit this place and youll see what Im talking about!

Great customer service! The food was a bit pricy but it was decently. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was really good..as a first time customer I was really impressed with the customer service, it was on point. The hibachi guy on the grill was super entertaining! He was very interactive and had the whole table laughing. He interacted very well with the children even! A little bit of entertainment for both adults and kids! Comedy, fire action and good food all in one!

What can I say. How about unbelievable! The service was amazing and the food, oh, the food!!! Way above expectations. Take a look at the photos. Does no justice. The quality of the salmon, white tuna, and red snapper was perfect. The service was outstanding. Between our server, the hostess, and the sweet server who helped us get the perfect table. We were very satisfied. Highly recommend!! Best sushi in New Braunfels so far to date!

Went on a Wednesday night and the place is hopping! My family went for the show, same tricks but still great tasting freshly made food. I like the sear they put on the scallops, their fried rice is tastier and has more flavor and that they dont use puny looking shrimp. Its a nice family thing to do, a little loud to be able to talk to everyone in a bit party, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I love their rice, shrimp and clear soup! so good! as well as the steak. Ive dined in and did the habachi experience both are pretty cool depending on what you feel like doing at the time. A little pricey for dinner but I think its worth it plus they dont charge extra for the habachi so i think thats cool. Our waitress was really nice.

Sushi is an art and "Made" the sushi chief takes pride in every piece he makes he always remembers his customers and is smiling. It is quite enjoyable to watch him work the line preparing the dishes for customers. If you are going there for sushi it is totally worth sitting at the sushi bar and watch the pieces of art being made.

Stopped in for lunch one Saturday on a whim. Prices were incredible for a sushi lunch ( I got the two roll combo with soup or salad for maybe $8.95 plus a drink). The miso soup that came with the meal left a lot to be desired, as did the service. Both rolls were made with fresh ingredients and well made.

Food was good and chef was awesome but the place was not clean. The floor was greasy, little grains of rice were everywhere, the glass partitions were smeared with handprints. It was lunch time and not busy. There was alot of workers standing around chatting and I wanted them to be cleaning.
