I hate to just give 5 stars to an eating place unless it was exceptional, this place keeps that theme alive. It checks all the boxes so cant be anything less in my mind. Friendly staff; check-good food; check-affordable; check-Dallas cowboys games on while eating; check. Definitely have to go back for chicken fried Sat night which is chicken fried chicken or steak for $7.99! Also, well have to try the breakfast that has rave reviews. I told my wife we might actually get out of here for only $20, which we did and which is rare nowadays. Oh, we even dessert, which was also good; so another check. My only complaint for the Mansfield one vs the Dallas one is they close earlier which doesnt always work for us being night-shifters but certainly doesnt reduce a star. Come check this place out for sure!

We were two people...when we came in there was a little young black girl whom was so sweet and very nice BUT then the waitress came over she was very rude almost to the point of us walking out but we thought we would try to see what would happened...she was like we were taking her time she seemed put out with the fact that we even came in....the food was pretty good but the service was bad...never again ..dont waste your time!!!!

Ordered a Denver omelette...meh! Service was meh-minus. No pleasantries- nor even a smile- when we sat down. I kinda felt like we were inconveniencing them. Waited 15 minutes for a coffee refill, and finally got up to ask another server who was walking into the kitchen. Rather than just getting me the coffee, she just said "Ill let your server know." So I waited another 5 minutes! Mansfield has much better breakfast options!

Came in with the family, we all ordered something different. We were all impressed with our own meals. (Others meals as well in some cases). We will definitely be back and will tell everyone about this place! Even my 9 year old son was like "WOW! WE HAVE TO COME BACK HERE DAD!" Also, our waitress, Hannah, was delightful!

This is the 2nd year in a row we have brought the Timberview Girls Basketball team to The Porch. We always have quick, great, friendly service! After last year, the girls requested it again since it was so good! This will definitely be the spot for our future playoff games when time permits!

This was our first visit here..The food (breakfast) was good. But as we sat there waiting for the server to bring back our credit card a roach ran across our table. Needless to say we were disgusted. I will never eat here or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The Porch catered my daughters wedding last weekend. We were outside at a beautiful rustic location with no electricity or running water. Giovanni and his team fed almost 500 people! The service was outstanding and the food was GREAT! Thank you so much! !

The food quality is terrible and the wait staff are not friendly (may be due to poor management) I dont know but the staffso attitudes are not inviting....I like to patronize local establishmentsales but this one will not receive my future business.

Where to begin, literally when we got our food we didnt know what to eat first. It has a hometown feel to it. It is a bit loud inside but its full of the small community, Mansfield. Food tastes and looks fresh. We will definitely be back soon!

My favourite weekend brunch destination. Whether youre recovering the morning after a long night or youre waking up late on a lazy Sunday they have you covered. Everything ranging from pancakes and omelettes to chicken fried steak and burgers.

We love this place. The food is good home cooked fare with really good prices. Senior menu prices, too, for lunch and dinner. Can eat better here and cheaper than a fast food restaurant. Often a free cup of homemade soup is offered.

Breakfast is better than IHOP in my opinion. Atmosphere is loud and festive on a Sat morning, so not exactly a place to come ease into the morn. Patio/sidewalk seating available but not quite setup for customers
