Went for Mothers Day (on Saturday to avoid the crowds) and had the foie gras and escargots as a starter. The foie gras was very good, escargots was ok (needed more garlic). I had the duck and the wife had the beef bourguignon. My duck wasnt evenly cooked and was overdone but was still good. The bourguignon was good and a good sized portion. Id say the food was overall pretty good. I like supporting the local restaurants and this was a pretty nice joint. Id visit again. Its a bit pricey but what French restaurant isnt.

The food was excellent a staff extremely friendly and professional. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the wine selection doesnt disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed our dinner without distractions. I would highly recommend La Balance to anyone looking for a high end experience!

Very impressed with this place. The chef greeted us and explained various dishes we had questions about. The food was excellent and diverse. Also, the wine list was fairly impressive. It was definitely worth dining there and would recommend it to others.

$28 ribeye is made with cheap frozen meat. Fine dining prices for fast food level quality. Good reviews here are likely from Miguels buddies. No wonder its empty on a Saturday night.
