My mother and I have been working in the area doing an estate sale across the street. The day before my visit, the cooks came by the house to bring a large dish of food to share with the home owners of the estate sale. The food was amazing. The owners insisted that we taste the chicken. Needless to say, we were so impressed we came back the next day to have lunch for ourselves. Well, being that we are preparing for estate sales, we were dressed in our "work" attire wearing yoga pants, a shirt, and comfortable shoes. I dropped my mother off and parked my 2015 Pink Mirage. My mother placed a carry out order because we had to get to work. When I approached the restaurant, an older Hispanic male in valet told me, "This place was too expensive and there were cheaper restaurants around the corner". I responded and said that I was looking for my mother. The staff and manger were extremely nice, they even offered us water while we waited and an extra chair to sit in. As we waited, there were only 3 tables open and I noticed a man coming from the back office. He walked right past us without speaking and greeted each of the guest dining in for lunch. He then sat down at a table with a party that was awaiting his arrival. I asked the manager who he was and she said he was the owner. As a new customer not looking for a new place to dine and bring friends, I will never do business here again. Also, when we got in the car, we had no utelisils to eat with or napkin and my mother gave a tip. I am 29 years old and now entering into my 7th year as Special Education Teacher. I guess next time I will ask were the back door is so I can enter in the way I was treated. Oh, and did I mention I was black?

The service is pretty horrible. I was pretty excited to try this place for brunch, but I was disappointed. It took almost an hour to place our order, it was hard to get drinks refilled and the food was slow coming out as well. This isnt a huge place and all of the tables werent full, so I honestly expected great service. I tried the mimosa and the bellini and enjoyed them both. They were smooth and not overly juiced. The bread they place out as a start is soft, however the butter is rock hard and not spreadable at all. I ordered the Brioche French Toast and my friend ordered the Norwegian eggs. We split the meals in half, so we each got something savory and sweet, or so we thought. The Brioche French Toast is advertised to have some sort of Crème Brulee to it, which is did not have that flavor or crispness. The bread was great, and the fruit was fresh, but overall it was mediocre French toast at best. (I will say the blueberry pancakes looked to-die-for) The Norwegian eggs were not cooked to medium like we requested, they were over easy. The salmon was flavorless, which was a huge disappointment. It needed lots of pepper to help it out. The potatoes served with the eggs were completely undercooked and hard. They brought French fries out in replacement of those and they were great. The fries were crispy and fresh. If you must go here, try the blueberry pancakes maybe and cross your fingers for great service. I hope to see this place improve as its charming and unique, but lacks quality and service.

Went there day before valentines. We were surprised by a fixed menu 80$ excluding drinks. reservation call 1 week prior assured us regular menu would be available (typical entree 30 to 50 dollars). Service was mediocre for a 100+ dollar bill per person. some servers didnt speak English! Server made no effort to explain menu. Wine poured with bottle dripping on the table. Napkin was such poor quality fabric it stuck to our clothes! The food was nothing exceptional. Even better they overcharged my bill by 15$! Wat the heck! Would not go there again!

I have been to Le Bilboquet twice-loved it both times. The first was for Sunday brunch-it was wonderful-my husband said it was the best eggs Benedict he has ever had (and thats a lot). The second time I went for lunch and the chef prepared an off the menu vegan plate for me-it was wonderful. A large plate of various fresh, seasoned veggies. The wine and champagne was also excellent. I love the feel of the place-it bright, intimate, and charming. Cant wait to go back for dinner soon!

I could not have had a worse experience and I did not even get the chance to eat. I made my reservation 1 month in advance. I was called twice by a rather unprofessional and rude hostess to confirm my reservation then I was called again and told that my reservation would not be honored unless I provided a credit card number. When I refused the hostess rather flippantly informed me that she would cancel my reservation. I am so glad I did not patronize this establishment.

Wow. We went for Valentines Day. The place was packed. I should have known when the menu had no prices on it. We ordered a TYPICAL nice dinner meal. Five ounce filet that was very good, and the lobster was a 1/2 inch by 4 inch long tube of I guess lobster. About four small bites. Wife got a typical size salmon. BOTH OF OUR DISHES were $85 each. What a surprise!! And now we can say goodbye to another restaurant screw job.

A lot of hype for a letdown of an experience. The one night a week I get to spend with my wife was wasted on this place. Service was poor, clientele was the same, seating was worse. The fireworks display of desserts being set off next to us every 10 minutes added a wonderful sulfur overtone to our hurried dinner. Will not return.

As a regular of their location in NYC I was thrilled when I heard we got one in Dallas. This is the first place in Dallas that has me absolutely in love with their food. They have truly mastered beurre blanc sauce with their Cajun chicken. Your taste buds deserve this place!

The best Cajun Chicken I have ever had. I am from Louisiana, so that is saying a lot. The atmosphere is very classy and elegant.
