My husband and I took a group of friends to see a recommended band. We were having a good time when a young women was accidently bumped into as it was crowded.Her boy friend punched my husband in the face when he wasnt even looking. My husband stood up and told him he did not want to fight to back off, before we new it the bouncer or manager started hitting my husband and 5 cops came in took him to the ground and was beating him. several other people were injured one taken to the hospital by ambulance, needless to say my husband went to jail along with others, but not the guy who started it. He was apparently a friend of the manager and quietly snook out the side.This was completely unjust and the manger and cops had no just cause for what they did. Not one person even tried to resolve this minor situation which turned into a physical beating and a public humilation as my husband is a 46 yr old local businessman not some 21 yrd drunk.

There are pubs that are respectable and enjoyable, then there are pubs that are downright trash and dangerous. This pub is one of the worst Ive ever been to. From the criminal bartenders that care only about talking to their friends and charging others for nonexistent drinks, to the dirty, sticky floors, not to mention how dirty every inch of the place seems to be (I actually found a condom in the midst of the floor.) Many of the older men here seem to make a contest of how lewd they can be to harass any woman that enters or passes them I would stay away if you value your time, respect or money. If you wish to brawl with an older perverted man or lose a lot of money, than this might be your place

I wish it could be a negative rating. I have been here numerous times and never had the problem I HAD TODAY! First time ever going to a bar alone.... The bartender misquoted me, charged my card double and only said..... sorry. I asked to see manager, he immediately had an attitude SAID he was not refunding me anything. He could but wasnt going to because I didnt tip. I said if you correct her mistake I would tip. HE said no. I said Im not paying$16 for 2 well vodkas! I have been a bartender for 11 years and would never treat my customers this way. I was so completely outraged. The manager appeared to be drunk or high.. I just left, not drinking my 2nd drink at all.... very disappointing.

Used to LOVE this bar, good service, decent drinks, great for Football season. But today we went in and were informed that AJ (the owner) got rid of NFL Ticket and now we can no longer watch all the different games. BAD, BAD decision on his part. There are too many sports bars around that show all the games and sell food. Definitely gonna loose ALOT of regulars because of this. Witnesses 9 people walk out because of his poor decision. Looks like Brick house, coaches, on the rox and mo s are gonna be racking in the bucks now. Our bartender was super nice though.

Worst place ever!!!!i was leaving and checking my messages when the bouncer grabbed my phone from my hands. So naturally my friend was like, why did you grab my friends phone??? Then the owners girlfriend Bianca nicole pulled her by her hair and punched her into the ground the male bouncer then picked her up by her hair and threw her into the ground. If you wanna have a Good time dont go to shamrocks they will make sure your night ends messed up!!! Worst staff ever

Shamrocks Pub hosts the best St. Patricks Day party. They usually have other events going on throughout the year. There are two sides in this pub. One side is more casual and good for watching sports while the other side has pool tables, a DJ booth and dance floor. My only complaint is that its sometimes difficult to get a drink on the dance side. I recommend going over to the casual side to get a drink then bringing it with you to the other side.

Terrible customer service. They do a bait and switch on their drink prices. The bartender told us a drink was $4.75 and when the tab came out they charged us 8.75 after we ordered 8 of them. We talked to the manager and he basically said tough and made us pay then told us we were welcome to take our business elsewhere. We have been coming here for a couple years and now will not be returning. All due to the management.

I like going here on Sunday nights for the $6 pitchers. Been here many times never had any issues. One time a waitress did get rude & got security to kick me out. They apologized for her and told me if I had any more problems with her to come & get them. Other than that I like going here on Sunday nights. Its always jumping.

Rude doorman who just stares at you and a rent a cop with a power trip. Like we HAVE to go here to spend our money. Many classier places all over Houston where they dont treat you like a criminal at the door and who appreciate your business. Seriously garbage. No wonder people show up drunk already...Not missing much here.

U cant beat a live bad folks...sundays its the place to be...4 dollar pitchers i think till 11 then 6 bucks....2 live djs mostly hip hop on sundays...love it

Monday vodka is super cheap. Great staff! Good crowd. Tuesday karaoke is almost full country. Usually has different kind of music every night.
