Went there with a couple of friends. Actually, there were six of us. Outside it didnt look like there was too much space for all of us at one table. All the tables seemed to be the same size. There was a crawfish boil going on which smelled good. Since we were forced to sit inside we missed out on the porch atmosphere. Plus, it was pretty dead inside. Apart from us there was a total of four other people at the bar. The jukebox doesnt play all the time, so if you put money in the box, make sure you ask them to switch it over. Our waitress was not very attentive. I already finished my drink and was waiting another ten minutes before asking her for another. She didnt seem to well versed with what liquor was behind the bar either. My friends also had to wait longer for drinks because she took my order, but didnt ask them for theirs. I wish I could remember her name to warn others. If you go, just be weary. There is also a sign on the door that says "No Children after 8 P.M." Its a bit weird for me to see that, but try it out at your own risk. I may or may not come back.

I love attending different Steak Nights around Houston, just to see whats out there. This place wasnt terrible, but it was sub par and there are better options for Steak Night around Houston. The steak was cooked perfect medium rare, however it had absolutely no flavor what so ever and I am not a fan of how they bring a tray of old and used baked potato toppings. You dont know whos hands have been in it and the whole thing just isnt sanitary at all. Trivia was a lot of fun, we enjoyed the announcer and she was friendly. Our server Danya was great, very friendly, helpful, and quick. We loved her. The drinks were good and over all we had fun, even if the food part of the experience wasnt all that great. If I return, it will be for drinks and trivia alone. Ill pay for food elsewhere. I do like that you can bring your dog on the patio as well.

Went to this place last week and was very impressed by it. Very nice place until the waitress showed up! Long story short we were there for 5 hours and changed two waitresses and did NOT see one smile on these peoples face. I was stunned how mad and sad looking these people were. They hardly checked on us and when we called them, no eye contact and very cut and dry. The only thing I would think that was wrong with them, was possibly They were upset about the low cut T shirts with sexual messages on them like: "I give heads for tips". Very disgracing for any women. Respect your employees Mr. Owner. They are not money making machines. Btw, Im a straight young man.

Ive never been treated so rudely. This place has always been mediocre and overpriced. My friends have like it though and the beer selection is generally good. Until last night, another patron knocked a drink in my face. As I tried to figure out what to do about th beer that was now all over me , the bouncer grabbed my arm and made me leave, while the guy responsible was just left alone. Completely unbelievable. I will not be back. There are so many options in this part of town. Dont waste your time here.

Really cool neighborhood bar. Big porch area so during summer and crawfish season it gets pretty packed. The wait staff is very friendly and really makes the environment. I have gone for several years and the wait staff will remember you and drinks. Perfect place if you are looking to go out and just have a chill night with friends or watch some sports on the several tvs that they have. They also have Trivia night on Wednesday and usually brings in a big crowd.

Love, love, love this place! Great outdoor patio where you can relax and enjoy a few drinks with friends and even better your furry four legged friends. I absolutely love that this place is dog friendly. I have a fairly huge dog for him to only be 10 months and its awesome that I was able to take him with me. The waitresses offer bowls of water for them and everyone there were very welcoming! Think Ive found a new place to hang out!

This is a fun neighborhood bar which is in anything but a neighborhood. Tip: You can take your car next door and get a carwash and grab a beer at Front Porch while you wait! Porch Swing has pretty good parking and a great beer list. It is just like its sister property, Front Porch Pub in midtown, but bigger and a bit more convenient.

Fun bar with good outdoor seating and TVs for watching sports. Always have a good beer selection with local and popular beers on tap even though there are limited options. Good about rotating what is on tap. Service is good and food is bar food but good bar food / fair priced. Very casual and great place for trivia night or MNF

The waitresses were on point with the service. The moondrivers were awesome! There is also a nice selection of craft beer. The patio makes for a nice hangout spot on a cool and sunny day. Dogs are welcome, and theres even water bowls in the patio area. Overall, its a great spot to hang out with friends and family.

Its ok. Convenient for the neighborhood. The welcome to dogs is a plus. The food is typical bar food, with nothing exceptional. The local craft beer selection is good but not exceptional. The front porch is a good addition to the neighborhood. Service is good, not exceptional. Music can be annoying.

I love this place! Mostly bc I can walk there and the grill is open until 1am. The chicken sandwich is sometimes amazing and sometimes dry, but I keep ordering it bc sometimes its amazing. Also helps if you add bacon, but it gets dry when they have to cook the bacon. I have mixed feelings...

Love the chill atmosphere of Porch Swing Pub. Drinks are neither cheap nor expensive. Theyve got tasty burgers. There seems to be some pretty high turnover with the waitresses...most are mediocre at best, but Max is awesome. We always try to sit in her section!

Honestly, pretty average bar. Nothing too special. We came tonight to watch the world series and they were trying to do trivia over the speakers of the baseball game. Beer choice was pretty decent though!

Trivia nights are Wednesday but go early for a good seat. Some of the tvs dont work, thats always disappointing. Ok bar food, I stay safe with the chicken tenders. Food pours and lots of options.

Always spot on with their wings. Trivia is one of the best in Houston and busy! They offer steak night the same night as trivia. Bartenders are some of the most coolest and Kick-Ass in Houston!!

This place is a perfect sized slice of Austin. I am UT alum, and I love Austin. This place has perfectly captured its essence. This is my first visit. Consider me a regular. What a find!
