Ive now been to Mi Rancho in Humble twice. The first time was barely okay, as the service was decent but the food was not good. Today, May 24, 2009, the service and food was very sub par. I ordered the Casa Mar. The shrimp was tough and cold, the chicken was hard and dry, and the beef was tough and flavorless. The guacamole with pico de gallo tasted as though it were made last month. The chips and salsa were terrible. The chips were tough and/or chewy, and the salsa was watery. My Mom ordered a chimichanga and she said it was tasteless, and not good. The Server even took our food away before we were even half finished. Maybe he was trying to tell us something. This is what you get folks when you allow inept and inexperienced people run a restaurant. Absolutely the worst overall dining experience I have ever had. I am very sorry that I did not choose either Noyolas or Hectors as usual. Mi Rancho in Humble just cannot stay in business in these tough times putting out garbage by pathetic servers. I have designed and built restaurants for thirty years, and dine out every meal when working. I know what is good, and what is bad. I do not know what to call Mi Rancho since it was worse than bad. Maybe Mi Rauncho...????

The waiter seemed to want to give us what he wanted to give us. We specifically pointed on the menu to a regular sized peach, and mango Rita. Weve never been there before so we didnt know the sizes of the drinks. He brought us two jumbos, and he didnt seem to understand the menu himself. Plus we had to wait 15 minutes after getting our food for my sons burger. Please teach your waiter the menu, and improve u his listening skills. My friend told him no beans on her plate (she hates beans), but the beans still ended up on her cheese enchiladas plate. Will not eat here again!!!! Enjoy that last $69 from me!!!!

We eat here frequently because the food is great. However, I believe tonight will be the last time we eat dinner here. The mariachi band is entirely too loud; its unbearable. They are 1/2 way across the restaurant and I cannot ever here my wife across the table from me. Add on top of that their "birthday celebration" that resembles 3 year old banging on pots with spoons so loud that you cant even hear them sing. I would recommend lunch only as for dinner you might as well be eating alone since you cant hear a thing over the terrible "music".

Invited my parents to these place to have lunch on sunday, hostess are good at what they do, food was great, but the service was so bad that Im not going back anymore. The water ignores our tables a few times ehen he finally came rushed us to order and never came back to refill...the worst thing is we were barely half way on food whem he brought the check and we wanted desert...there was a table waiting to be seated so that why he wanted us to leave.....

disgusting I got an order of tacos thinking it would come with salad , tomatoes and all that good stuff when he put my order on the table I thought it was a joke, these it was only the tortilla and meat and yellow shredded chesse like the chesse you buy from Walmart I was like um thats it I dont get l lettuce he said no thats extra. los cucos is way better than this place. plus my cousing said she saw a roach on her table.

I live in the area and this is the best Mexican place for food, atmosphere, service and price! No question. They are very fast, sometimes too fast lol, and always friendly. Their frozen margaritas are good and strong and a great price. My husband and I usually share the fajitas for one or the steak de rancho...after chips and salsa we easily can share most plates and get our fill. This place is very family friendly too.

I agree with an earlier reviewer who said that "Humble doesnt have many great Tex-Mex places" ... In fact, I have yet to find even one. MI Rancho is barely adequate. The enchiladas with red sauce were largely bland, without notable character... Very Lubys-like. Nothing about the food stood out. One thing that I did find to be true is that the staff is very friendly and responsive. For that reason, I added one star...

Weve been going to mi Rancho for 6 years. Awesome Mexican restaurant, no name platter, de tonala, shrimp tacos and the pork chop plate are my favs. They even serve quail!!! Best margaritas in Houston and they create their own combination of flavors using all the top shelf tequilas. Family owned with unbelievable hospitality and a wait staff that is always on their toes.

I went here to eat for the first time. They have exceptional customer service. Soon as you have a seat the waitress brings your party water. Everything we ordered came out extremely fast, hot, & fresh. The waiter has a pleasant personality and smiled entirely. I didnt have to ask for anything, they are completely there for you. Will definitely go back!

Delicious and flavorful food, its definitely a place to check out for Tex-Mex food. I had the El Refu Fajitas platter and the chicken and fajitas came out fantastic. Combined with the flour tortillas and cheesy vegetables that were on top of the platter, its my new favorite item on the menu. It is a but pricey but for the food its worth it.

Made the mistake of going on Fathers Day. Live band was earsplitting, literally had to yell during the entire meal to be heard by even the person across the table from me. Dont think the server could hear us either as the order wasnt quite what we asked for. Food was pretty good but overpriced extras were added to the tab with no warning.

I have never had a bad meal or drink here and that is saying a lot!! The service is usually great sometimes they are too busy or you get that one person who rushes you to order because they are over whelmed, but the food and drinks always make up for any bad experience you have lol!!!

Been going to this place for several years. The service has always been good. The margaritas are always on point. The food is usually pretty good. Although this time around my tacos had very little meat in them and all around skimpy sides. The tacos mexicanos are usually very good.

A group of 11 went on a Saturday evening and were seated in not even 10 minutes. Food and service was great! The only bad was there was people there that were loud.. so it got pretty noisy to the point were you couldnt even enjoy the music anymore. Other than that it was great!!

If your in Humble and want Mexican food, you wont be disappointed with Mi Rancho. Chips and salsa are great, margaritas are great if thats your thing, and the food is 95% of the time on point. Parking sucks and they are always packed during lunch and on the weekends.

Good Mexican restaurant close to Fall Creek. The staff is friendly and works quickly. The house margaritas are good, the fajita platter is usually overflowing. I usually order one of the shrimp dishes. Only issue is that it can be noisy on weekend nights.
