My family frequently used this restaurant due to its location not for their quality but it location, the food is just edible. My brother ate their and brought go orders for me and my mom when we got our order it was incorrect, it happens every where , Im used to it. What was very disappointing and very unprofessional was the way I was treated on the phone, the woman on the phone said her name was Beatrice, she could care less and said it was our fault, wow nice! Well I dont like writing reviews because they can hurt a company for a long time but I think this is warranted due to the way I was treated. Business should instruct their employee that their attitude can and will affect business, good luck guys with this employee your on your way out. Its too bad.

This place is a must visit. One of only two places that I know of that still take fresh corn masa, press it in a certain way that, when deep fried, the tortilla puffs up and gets crispy. See photo attached. Their puffy crispy tacos are unique, a historical heritage and tasty to boot. This is one of those restaurants that is under the radar because of its location but I find it to be one of my all time favorites here in Houston. Recommended.

Already noted this is the place to go for puffy tacos this side of San Antonio best Enchilada Gravy this side of Herreras in Dallas. Love Jenny and the rest of the staff. Great prices and very clean simple restaurant which has been in the community for ages.

If been eating at this place since I was 5 Im 27 currently. The place has changed owners but not cooks this is my favorite place in all Houston to get enchiladas. Thats what they do best but the other food is good to. A must try for all Houstonians

They got great food. Worked there when I was younger and never stopped loving there good. They made sum dessert with ice cream,caramel and frosted flakes(highly recommend). Dont forget to order chile con queso for your chips. ;-)
